I know it's a minor point but xfce (the desktop environment for xbuntu). Needs a lot of customization. Just changing the default icons and using a dark theme works wonders. Otherwise I'd say it gets unfair negativity. It's extremely fast and can look great. Xfce is really horrible to look at by default it's a shame its developers don't have a nicer default theme. Some points 1. Xubuntu is pronounced Zoo-bun-too 2. Ubuntu stopped using Unity in 17.10 and now using Gnome with a Unity like skin/customization, so it would be incorrect to call it Unity. 3. Xubuntu comes with LibreOffice Writer and you can see it in the video at 3:23 in the Menu. Xubuntu stopped using Abiword in 15.10.

Un sistema operativo es un mal necesario. Entiendo tus comentarios si por ejemplo en latino america (pobre) y en Cuba peor y con la bota el Tio Sam en el cuello hace mas sentido todo tener en xubuntu y que puedan usar lo que pueden conseguir. yo por lo que comento arriba uso xub. y me parece arido dificil de manejar (vs Window ) Me estoy moviendo de contexto de desarrollo de DB sin preocuparme por el OS. Para ahora conocer Linux y lo que hay hoy Python, DevOps . Por lo que valoro tus comentario que me ayudan en mi precesso
I like Xubuntu better, even I bought a new laptop earlier this year. I like how Xubuntu looks and its pretty fast.

Dude if I shift completely from windows 10 to Xubuntu will I have to download drivers or will it come pre-installed.
