Watching you cooking with your littles has me missing those days when my grands were young and we cooked and baked together when I came to visit. I always arrived with new recipes to try that also reinforced their math and science skills.
@@thehaipath one of them now has been a chef since age 10 and has had paid catering gigs in addition to doing a lot of the cooking for his family. Really proud of him!
Love this video as always such great family cooking content . And I love to just use whatever basil I have in my ramen of pho it taste so amazing. And basil in everything when I can. My basil plants didn’t do good either this year so bought some late and they are thriving but won’t have the frozen basil to give me the warm fuzzies during winter this year. Love the recipes going to make me some pasta thank you for the inspiration and your time creating here for us
These videos never get old. I love these food prep the best. Thai food is so darn good. They really know how to cook. Bangkok was nice, but I adore Chiang Mai. I have three weeks more in Cambodia then it’s back to Thailand for a week. I am going to Sukhumvit just for fun and shopping. Bangkok has the best China town I have ever seen. My grandson is an adventurous eater, so it’s a real blast. 😊
Woohoo so cool you’re on your trip how exciting! I am so envious of you right now, love Thai food too much I won’t even know if we can go without eating meat now because that’s all I knew! Ha! Eat more for us!
I feel you on avoiding eating out. For us, eentrees seem to be between $12 and $15 around my town, so a family of 6 really isn't an option. Prep prep PREP is the way. 😂 Mercy is so cute. My kids always have to touch the flour, sugar, etc., too. 😊
Yes that’s the exact price roughly here as well an we have to times it by 6 excluding Trey. Plus tip! Ugh!! Too much!!! Thank you mercy is very cute and a great helper!
Loved this video. I love pasta salads etc. Your tip on using the water for cooking 2 or 3 different types of pasta dishes is great. I also like to take the grapes off the vine and have them ready to eat. I find this way they get eaten more, and won't have a chance to spoil.
Thank you for watching and yes! The pasta water is reusable, I made a couple of pasta dishes where I was just dumping the water out and reboiling each time ugh what a waste and so much time wasted too!
I love these meal prep videos! They give me so much inspiration 😊 Also, I don’t know if you’ve looked into this but celery juice is really good for autoimmune issues!
Love all the meal prep especially the quinoa salad. Never presoaked it but will try. LOVE basil...making tons of pesto for the freezer. Drying pizza thyme, sage, oregano, and chives for future use. Fresh herbs add so much flavor. Good luck with competitions.
Presorting the quinoa helps with the digestibility! We just add 3 cups to a half gallon mason jar, fill it up with water and leave it over night. So easy Oh man I love basil so much it was so fragrant and I’m almost out! 😣 great idea drying all those herbs!
Greta video! Have you ever oven roasted the cooked quinoa in the oven to make it crispy? I want to try it, but haven’t yet. Hoping it would be a great salad topping.
@@thehaipath- - crackers! That a good idea too. My husband has some medical (heart) issues & has to change his eating habits, anything using whole grains is super. He can’t have any white carbs. He thinks he can’t eat anything.
Isaiah won third and Grace won in some kind of trick prize and everyone received a ton of prizes! We had a blast watching everyone and we are so proud of them all!
Yes and each kid is different! Some inherited more curl and we have one with straight asian hair. We keep it simple we wash with our own goat milk soap we make, when we brush we use oils like argan, jojoba, coconut or olive oil and I get them in braids when I can 🙂
Hi Patricia! We met on an online game called world of Warcraft!! I was in Taiwan and Trey was in Vegas. We actually touched on this in our video here: th-cam.com/video/A16OwxBCS78/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TNmuBMGQ4zwei_xi
Yes! We honestly were going to do this but our lifestyle includes our livestock which does not allow us to leave haha maybe next time if we get a farm hand or something
I can smell the fresh basil from here.....Yum!
Right?? I can tell the basil can be smellable through video because it’s so strong but sooo good!!

Great idea getting the grandkids cooking with you. Even if they’re not young you can drag them into the kitchen with you too 😁

That big container of pesto pasta is going to be a lifesaver here coming up on a busy day.
It sure was in our busy day!
I love that you guys taste your food together!😊
Hehe thank you!! We must taste!

Great idea freezing some basil during winter months when they are not thriving and producing! I should definitely try it in some pho too yum!

Really like your shirt. 😊
Thank you! I got it a while ago haha and everyone thinks it’s a UK United Kingdom 🇬🇧 shirt but it’s not 😌
I use a cookie scoop to fill muffin tins. It accurately measures and is less messy and time consuming than using a spoon. I love your videos.
Great idea with the cookie scoop! I suppose we need to invest in a new ice cream scoop! They’re going to be great for cookies too duh 😝

This quinoa salad is truly great, made it again today and Trey loved it!!
Good for you Mercy! Great job!
Thank you Gwendolyn!
It all looks so great, especially the shells! I can almost taste it from here! Thank you all very much.
Those shells tasted fantastic! They’re a great meal prep item too, tomorrow after a busy week we will be heating and eating this!

Whaaat what a great idea!! Quinoa is so versatile we made some crackers with them and it’s delicious

If you spent some time in Thailand, the Thai language would come back to you.
Yes perhaps it will! Just talking to Thai people, maybe one day we will have to move to Thailand 😝
