This was great. I was prescribed this two in 1995, but it involved needing someone else to do the pulling with the towel. I now see how I can do this myself as needed. THANK YOU.
Just found this link. I have c-spine issues and degenerative discs. Been having pain in my neck with a pinched nerve causing pins and needles in left arm. Tried the 1sr technique sitting in the car and felt instant relief. Felt a warming sensation when the pressure on the nerve was released. I can actually move my head left and right without hearing a crunch or feeling pain!!!
Spine Care Doc-Dr. Rowe shows how to instantly relieve NERVE PAIN in your neck and arm. All of these exercises can be done at home and require no special equipment!
Sorry I took a break from commenting on your videos as am super busy with work Thanks for this as my neck is paining love your channel soooooooooo much love your exercises soooooooooo much
Thank you so much!! I've had the worst pain and stiffness in my neck. The towel technique worked best for me, but all of them relieved some of the pain! 🙂
Yes! I am now pain free! It really took about 6 months total but once I discovered the best traction exercise for me, things improved significantly and quickly. The thing that worked best was using a pillowcase. I laid on my back facing the ceiling. Using two hands on each end of the pillow case I pulled my head away from my shoulders (similar to method 4 at 7:15 of this video). Within a few weeks if doing this at least twice a day the pain completely went away. What a relief! Good luck! 👍
@@ElDarren I'm glad you're pain free. These pinched nerves hurt after a certain while. This helped me as well since yesterday. Were you waking up with stiff achey neck?
Thank you for this information. I have intense neck/back pain/discomfort nearly every day. I will try these exercises & see if they help. Again, thank you.
Hi Dr I have stenosis in my cervical and a fusion on L5/S1. My surgeon at the time said "the fusion would work for about 10 years". I failed to ask, what happens after ten years? It's been over 20 years and I am unable to hold myself up and the pain is a 12 on the pain scale. Ive had countless mri's, ct scans, xrays, numerous injections, spinal cord stimulator, intrathecal morphine, etc.. and nothing works. I've tried acupuncture, numerous spine specialist including 2 separate nba surgeon's. Nothing works. My first spine surgery was emergency surgery when a disc between L5/S1 ruptured. The Horrible pain is directly behind the scar from the first surgery. I've had specialist say the stenosis in my cervical could cause the pain in my lower spine. I am confident the problem is on the opposite side of the scar. I've had a chiropractor strap me to an automatic decompression table for a series of visits over a two month period and I've recently been working with a therapist/sports trainer. He's been applying direct pressure onto the scar while bending me into a pretzel. Last week while I was laying on my side as he was pushing (and stretching) the room began spinning out of control and I really thought I was about to loose consciousness as things began close in almost like tunnel vision. I heard myself yell out for him to stop. Do you think the direct pressure on my spine (and fusion block) would cause something like that?
I have extreme pain around my left shoulder blade. When i look up or reach with my left hand, it hurts. I got a cortisone injection, which didn't help. I'm trying to figure out which nerve is pinched. The Dr says it's a neck pinch. Any ideas?
Bulging disc causing a pinched nerve in my neck has caused me to have to quit 90 percent of my physical activities. I am not used to sitting around. I wish I could find a doctor that will remove part of the disc (microdisectomy) they all want to do a fusion because they get paid more.
@@JJbro-rt5zu no not at all. It is all so discouraging; I have 2 back surgeries at the very least in the future and do not have the money and can not work enough to keep the insurance because i am self employed.
Hi again! I was wondering if there are tips for preventing tension in my neck while I am in front of a computer (maybe a proper sitting pose?), it starts being very tight after just a few minutes of looking at the screen :(

Sounds like cervical radiculopathy
