- Cash cows, easy money, fast earning earners, beginners moneybag...claimants. Whatever you want to call it, here's another in my line of GT7 tune setup tutorials to turn one of your cars into a Le Mans WTC700 ready 700 PP monster which you can use to not only earn its own value back many times over, but of course to pad out your garage with pretty much any car in the game...
This time around its another favourite of mine, the LMP1 Peugeot 908 diesel which won the 24h race in real life, which now returns as a short-shifting torque monster capable of running the entire event on fuel map 1 with zero pits! Quite the useful advantage, so let's jump in...

There are so many good Le Mans cars in the game, I wish they'd add a 1 or 2 hour 850pp so we don't have to neuter them (and have 1m/2m credit reward so it's worth doing)
I want that so bad its stupid lol. Or atleast swap the spa and lemans events.
Yeah, I'd love a 1h/850 or 900PP race with ~1.5 million payout like Spa.
It's madening that there isn't one, especially since they let us do the circuit experience in a Le Mans car!
Would be nice. Would like to see a 1 to 2 hr on Nurburg for group 1's
Also would be nice to see more F1 cars and races in the game. Super Formula just isn't the same.
One very good race I enjoy is the spa endurance race. 800pp 1 hour race, 1.5m reward. And it rains halfway through, which I like, because racing in the rain at night in spa is quite a vibe.
I remember during the 1st half of 2023 I used the Aston Martin DP100 VGT, and short shifting super low with the setup I got made it by far the fastest vehicle in this event, being able to post 3m 49s lap times.
I found it to be the same as you, however I don't use that car anymore because there is no cockpit view in VR. Boohoo.
It's funny. The car's PP keeps slowly rising after each update.
Won the dp100 in roulette and gave it a go. Fast, good on fuel and looks aight. Jsut no cockpit view which is sad
Appreciate these vids! Thanks for doing them! Always extremely helpful!
The wonders of Gran Turismo and the ability to take *_any_* car in an event provided you know how to tune it. I know it's easy to detune a Gr.3/Gr.2 and make sure it still has enough power, but a Le Mans car? That's neat. I'll definitely try this out - I wanna collect cars capable of doing WTC700. Thanks, man!
With the new update you have to do the front aero all the way down, and the rear all the way up. Also the intermediate tires shred much faster, this is a sad day for GT7.
Thank you 🙏
Downforce front 830 and Rear 1587
Thanks, tried it but not worth it. Tyres are gone after lap and a half.
Is it due the new update that my 800pp setup moved up to 840, and so for many of my setups ?
@@9UCK9 I ended up trying to win using an old maxed out civic.. don't bother! You won't win 🤣
Great video as always. Geez, your tyres were shot at the end. Agreed, TCS at 5 with anything but the lightest of showers. As you also stated, it stops the car spinning tyres, which is a MUST for this car, looking at your tyre wear!
It’s not too bad with spinning them up given the ultra low revs and short shifting, but yeah intermediates always wear the quickest, lol
GT7 has failed us in the endurance department big time
Thanks for the video, we need more LM tunes.
Also, I use your tune and edit it a bit while using "racing transmission" to sit perfectly at 700PP
bro, could you help me what running time did you do on the gearbox or did you leave it stock?
Definitely a fun build. I had won this race before and wanted to try this build. I tried five times to win the race I came in second twice and between fifth and tenth, the rest. You definitely need the rain to maintain the tires, after the 1.50 update. The race I won, after the rain stopped. I stuck to sides that were still wet to maintain the tire integrity. All races I had to pit and change tires and a splash of fuel. The race I won I was a minute ahead of the field. Thanks for the build :)
i cant get the car under 720pp with all the settings in the video, what am i doing wrong
You gave me an idea, I am going
to try the LM55 gr1 in a similar way. It may not even need tc
Great video as usual bro
I've literally just discovered the Gr.2 Audi RS5(?) for this event.
That's a great car. The DRS helps out with the top end that you nerf to get it down to 700pp
908 is what i use at Tokyo.
No pits! The car slays!
What’s the build?
@@andrew-guillen i'll have to boot up the game and see, because i haven't played in months
Coolest and actually effective, plus very relaxing to drive!!! Thanks a lot!!!!
does this work still? i seen a earlier comment saying this doenst work anymore
@@gkey06 dude, it works. The only change I made was max the rear downforce all the way, other than that, it still works
@samuellui5502 cool. Thanks for replying!
I've always done it with the redbull x2014 junior but I'll try it out in the video
I’ve seen a few of these and this is definitely the best one
I'm sorry but I did everything you said and it only dropped down to 7:20 PP I cannot get it under 70
new update - new physics, patch 1.49-1.50. :(
I did this exact time but it's at 719.99
A F12 is an easy win as well. Fuel at 6 and short shift just as the red appears on the rpm gage. Will easily do 180 on the straights. You can do it with 1 stop weather permitting.
I use the pikes peak car for this. Pitting doesn’t really matter because it’s a 30 min race and 7 laps no matter what it seems. I usually finish it under 31 mins depending on what rain scenario i get. I have to pit twice for fuel and sometime tires. Thx for the new car idea i will give it a shot. 🍻
I love the cashcow builds ❤
Inters with lower power or wets with higher power output while 1600 back down force and 857 front?
I use the BMW M3 ‘03 engine swapped with the 8 cyl. Works well with the 6 too. Usually win with 1 min or up to 3:30 s. Depending on if it rains or not. And I’ll pit like 2-3 times. Been using it for a long while now.
I actually modified up a dodge viper with aero and did the same run. You can run on fuel map 6. Plenty of power to leave everyone in the dust. Even affording to short shift for fuel management.
I'm guessing that the Audi R18 will be similar. Thanks. PS: The Weeklies are meh this round. At least you can use the R4 again this week.
Great build …I was 1:41 ahead of second and it drives great in wet too without having to slow down …beautiful build but not my favourite car tbh as I play on psvr2 the inside is kind of boring
What exactly is the point of no pit stops in a 30 minute race? I've tuned a ton of 700pp cars and some are better than others, but most of the time, I enjoy the pitting and strategy involved... breaks up the grind a little bit.
Bingo! It became so much of a walk for credits that I have been trying with a whole variety of cars and pit strategies. I have a couple no stop options but prefer to see what the weather brings and pit for tires then just ride them out on a one stopper while rest of field pits again late.
I’m using the pagani Zonda r built to 700 spec and I’m finishing 3 minutes to a lap ahead depending on wether ai gets caught on rain or not and with 3 pit stops. So much fun. Best lap 4:00:32
I am still using the pagani. I start the race on hards, fuel map 6, I pit on lap 3 for rain tires and finish the race with no more pits.
Personally my favourite car to use is the R32 GTR Nismo. I have it set to kinda JGTC spec at 1150kg with 600hp. Just shy of the 700PP limit. Able to get 4min lap times on fuel mode 5 as well. I find i typically will win with a minimum of 1/1.5 mins buffer to the AI cars.
Just a correction that’s the spec that the Gibson Motorsport GTR’s ran over here in Aus. The Japanese GTR’s had snot 500-540 hp
On spa you can pit for inters when it rains then go the whole race without pitting again just lower the FM
Even tho i struggled a lot last week tunning and learning to brake with the Porsche Carrera GT 904, i managed to get a couple of no pit wins with it, it all depends on how heavy the rain is, you can run 4 laps at gas 6 and 3 at 1-2, im running on automatic, but i guess someone with practice can save even more gas hoho
I've been doing this race twice a day for two months, had a bunch of 20million credit vehicles to purchase, thank god that stupid Ferrari 330 finally popped again this month. I still find that running a normal Gr4 car, really partial to the McLaren 650s, with a turbo is pretty consistent winning at the 6/7 lap mark. Especially if the rain hits hard, the AI doesn't seem to understand the change to Wet tires until it is too late.
This doesnt work anymore, you need to detune the car so much that you wont get laptimes of 4:10, but of 4:30. Also you still need to pit because the tires are shredded so much you slip everywhere
Susuki Escudo has a 1150hp 700pp tune, I run it at fuel map 6 and I always finish at 30 minutes. The last 2 minutes I stop behind the finish line and wait for the time because the other cars are 1 or 2 laps behind
Need the tune for this!
Yeah this was my go to as well, ridiculously fast in a straight line. But it's an ass to corner! But it's pretty much a guaranteed race win, running it in the lowest fuel setting and keeping a close eye on the weather map.
Also haha Forza livery hashtag cursed amiright?
Just use the Mazda 787B with Racing Hard Tires and Fuel Map on 6 and you have to maybe only go once in the pit because of rain so you can put on intermediats
Amazing!!
PD need to ad a lemans gr1 event so bad
Yeah it’s weirdly lacking
Thought this wouldn’t work, but first attempt finished the race 2 minutes ahead
The A220 Race Car 68 is for me the best Car for the Le Mans Race : 337 KW / 790 KG medium hard doesnt madder but dont use soft you have to take to mutch Power down - you win easy every time . ;) .its 2,37 kilo to 1 KW means a car with 1300 kilo needs 548 KW never sah one at 700 LP ;)
To bad i already spent the credits to learn you can't get it under 700 having all the settings the exact same it's at 739 and dropping the down force all the way on both front and rear gets me 721. Delete the video already
I have been using the mclaren f1 road version so it can make its money back, haven't lost in it yet but it doesn't make the huge gap this gr1 does. What's everyone else been using
Can you do a spa build please the 1 mil race
I dont understand because the car is almost 900 pp when i bought it and im not sure on how to make it under 700
I wish I could get bonus money for having a deficit of pp. It would give incentive to try and win with under powered cars
Yeah for sure
Its not bonus money but what i like to do is the 800pp grind is made for the gr3 and 2 cars because of the fuel but doing it with non race cars is fun cause you really have to be fast because you pit one or two more times most cars i keep it on fuel 2 or 3 havent had much luck with that at spa tho. Im determined to do spa with porche living legend tho. Bigger fuel tank then most but wish the handling was alittle better
This doesn’t work anymore I ran out of fuel on the 2nd bend before the penalty box , and the front left tire went on lap 4 ish and I was 3 seconds ahead
It’s been half a year since I have played GT7. Is Sardegna, Tokyo Express & LeMans still the main 3 races to grind? 🙄 please say no….
Yup, they are still the only good money making methods, its really boring but oh well
@@joaolouro03 i wish they would rotate them or something. I had to quit playing. I would fall asleep during a race and hit the wall. Lol I’m like what am I doing here. So I took a break. That was 6 months ago now.
Just want to check what difficulty do you do these on?
I just slap it on easy since it makes no difference to the payout. Even then the lack of pit should easily dominate
In other words you’ve got to totally f&ck the car up and dive slow as hell just to run it!!?? 🙄😏 wish they’d add a group 1 challenge at Le Mans! It’s crazy with all the Le Mans cars there isn’t even a race we can use them! 😣
I've been doing this with the 962 for ages.
Me too but something has now changed after the update, I can’t get the power above 336 with ballast, inters and no stops! Rather annoying! I also had a race with no rain at all!!
I dont understand, i cant do it, always get 4:29 per lap, much much slower then u, and have to pit in lap 5 for fuel
Just done this exact set up and only get 738 pp no where near the 699 needed to race only when I put inters on it drops to 699 but can't race as its dry! So I don't know what's gone wrong
lol did you not watch the video? He has intermediate tires on for the whole race. The tires will wear to nothing if it doesn't rain but you can still finish the race with worn tires.
If its a manual tune and i drive in auto (paddleshifters) what'll happen? Never tried or seen a "Manual Tune"
Waste more fuel from revving too high
What if i drive it with automatic gearbox? What should i change?
You'd need to pit for fuel. Can't fuel save by shifting early. Not necessarily a bad thing, but obviously will blow the "no stop" strategy
the tundra with an engine swap can do the same thing. that things broken
How much is the car?
does this method still work post 1.46 update? thanks
Sure does
Tires burn up in 3 laps. Lol with the no pitting part. I have to pit more with this tune than any other.
Does this still work
Either this has been patched already or I'm missing something... I'm sitting at 771PP ???
You missed something. Switching to stock turbo and gearbox perhaps?
@@rwelektra4239 nope, its not that. Ive copied the build exactly, as far as I can tell. - maybe something was changed and not mentioned, but Ive bought the same items, and my settings match... everything except the final PP
@@D4V1DC14RK that is odd, because I did mine TODAY and it came out exactly as in tutorial.
@rwelektra4239 yeah, I got it sorted.
Seems I didn't put the power restriction down to 70% (although I was sure I had)
Hilarious that this livery has an ad for Xbox360 on the front sides of car.
Yep, lol. I love the Forza livery era of the 908
V12td burr
How to get it under 700pp now??
I’ve readjusted mine to still compete, can’t recall how it compares but make sure you’ve got heavy wet tyres, bump the weight up and put it forward, full downforce on the back and low on the front, then give it as much power as it can allow
@@HSGAutomotive Could you give the exact numbers? Thanks
I have followed your instructions to the letter and my car will not go below PP702??
Any ideas ?
You must have missed something, because if you did all as listed, it comes exactly the same as shown, just below 700pp. Perhaps you forgot to switch to stock transmission?
Can I use automatic lol
You can, but it’ll use more fuel because of changing much higher in the rev range
@HSGAutomotive yeah I had to pit once but still smoked everyone lol thanks bro
Why am i at 738
I do this with the R92 Calsonic.
