No she could not. Nothing against her, but track and field does not produce many stars. Maybe 7 or 8 in history, and like two of those of have been women.

When worlds started it made a comment that Abby would surprise folks at the meet.
I was ridiculed at my prediction, it didn't change my views on this speedster however. And I'm so glad that this little gal excelled and brought 2 gold home.

Watching her in the relays at Kentucky I wonder if Abby would consider the 400 along with the 200. She’s a nice 100 meter runner, but her top end speed and endurance are world class!!!
I'd love to see her focus on the 400. She's obviously great at the 200, but I wonder if her best event isn't the 400m. I'd bet coaches have talked to her about it.

Gee, I wish I was 50 years younger. Such a lovely, down to earth young woman. You had me as soon as you said you played football (soccer). I'm enjoying watch your progress. When you switch on your afterburners you must give your opponents and their trainers the heeby jeebys. Onwards and upwards... love from down under (that's Australia to you).
When I saw Abby run the first few times I was blown away by her turnover rate and top-end speed. Then.....when I watched her in a 4x400 the first time I halfway expected a kind of typical "rabbit tightening up in the last 100" effect from her......but holy cow! Turns out she has tremendous conditioning and ran a very impressive 400M also. I'm very impressed with her athleticism.
