She herself and her coach said the build up since september was aimed at Glasgow. “Winning the main goal, world record a bonus.” Of course she already broke her own record, but let us not increase expectations every time she runs. Take into account as well that a demanding outdoor season with the Olympics is ahead of her. So she has to keep some reserves. She is not a robot!
Yes - she has it in her to run a sub 49 - she is a beast out on the track - only 23 years old and she will only be getting better. I love seeing her run - my favorite athlete to watch perform.❤❤❤
@@reginaldhampton3451 Well she went 49.16. Still a new world record indoors. And that at the indoor world championship, It is nothing to be ashamed off. ;-)
I think she'll focus on winning the gold. It'll be her third 400m race in 1½ day, and she'll probably have to run twice in the 4x400 the next day ... So I don't think she'll attack the World Record, unless her opponents come very very close ...
Do you think Femke Bol will break 49.00 by the end of the season? 🤔

Outdoor I am sure she can do it already!
The remainder of the season will be on the 400 m hurdles, so I dont think so. However we may see some great things on the hurdles

Femke is a Hero

I so hope she does. One think I can tell you for sure. I'm buying tickets for her next indoor event.
Of cause . She is much faster than 2023 - and she only improved the recor by 0,02 sec. You will see: 48:91 next time in Glasgow.
That would be amazing!
Not

No Glasgow focus on Gold. Maybe next year closer to sub49s.
Focus on gold so she will run as fast as possible
She's just done it again in Glasgow.
Yep 49.16 at the world indoor 400m championship she is getting close to sub 49 now.
IncrediBOL
This is how i'm writing it from now on.

Well beep she just put the world record sharper to 49.16. Far in front of the others and it looked she was cruising.
