    Thank you for a detailed yet brief explanation of this topic. I can attest to the fact that a small tree branch twig poking my eye caused me great pain and took almost a week to heal with symptoms of pain, redness of the eye, huge amounts of tearing in the eye, sensitivity to light, blurry vision, and mucus formation in the eye. For the first three days I was unable to sleep due to discomfort. The ER doctor prescribed an antibiotic drop while it was healing and due to the presence of likely infection from the dirty tree branch.

      Cornea abrasion do not last 30 months. You are in a for-profit healthcare system. The doctors do not want to go bankrupt and have very high tuition costs for schools. You should see a experienced debt-free doctor that will not keep ruining your eye for profits. These doctors do not have ethics and do not have legal requirements from lying to you. You are making someone very rich.

      Put the gel from your doctors in at night and tape your eyes shut with the medical tape that wont rip your eyebrows out. Use the 0.3% ointment (i think its 0.5% in USA) every 2 hours during the day. Apply the ointment to your eyes before you open your eyes in the morning so they are moist (apply to the part of each eye closest to your nose, that red/pink part and allow your eyes to lubricate before you open your eyes). This helped me immensely and i wrote to my doctor about it. I hope you recover and start feeling good again. You can recover.

  • @Antzmacadamia
    @Antzmacadamia 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Ive had this for 12 weeks now. Started from either a scratch rubbing my eyes, or from the beach. I've recently been told by my eye doctor to tape my eyes shut when I sleep, as its possible I'm involuntarily opening my eyes during sleep. Almost twice a week now I cannot open my eyes in the morning and extreme pain keeps me in bed all day. Feels like insects are eating my eyes. I am in Japan and my medication is half the strength of what is show in the video for the drops and gel, and i think thats the maximum they have. The doctor also said this is fairly common, as it was very new to me. I wouldnt wish this on anyone.

      @@ineedbbwshoe7906 I now have a painful condition once a month, compared to once a week. And its no longer extremely painful. So my condition has lasted 7-8 months now, and the last 2 months have been a great improvement. Keeping my eyes moist is the key. Having a humidifier on during sleep has been good. Keeping positive is very important as it is depressing, so exercise and being active during days my eyes are in great condition also counter that. I have been told by my doctor that the approaching springtime will be a good time to heal. I estimate I'll need at least 6 weeks of no painful attacks before I can say I am clear of this condition.

    Medical malpractice is a common problem in America. The opinion of one doctor is often contradicted by another. Always contact professional lawyer if you think your doctor is trying to exploit your health for profits and misreporting your symptoms to hide their faulty prognosis.
