And maybe try something like "knocking interrupted the usual sounds of my HVAC heater". Another thing, try to show not tell what is happening. But from the first paragraph, those are my main tweaks I'd advise you to do. Of course, I'm not an admissions officer, I'm a senior as well, but yeah. Also, try to get an English teacher to look at your essay for you! And try to not have your essay on a public forum like that, it'll be marked as plagiarized.
When his GPA is also 5.065, he was the valedictorian of his class, SAT Score 1570, and ACT 35 and he traveled the world and have a lot of experienced in his passion(yes this is a dramatization, but probably still accurate lol). you don’t need some cliché mission trip experience to write an amazing college essay. it could be about literally anything, as long as you can relate it back to yourself, specifically, to your identity as a whole. my best friend wrote her essay about learning to ride a BIKE and its representation of herself and significance to her life, and got into Vanderbilt as well. i wrote my essay about my fucking hair color and got into 15 of the 16 colleges i applied to. my point is, you don’t need to have some ground-breaking story to be set apart from other students. the significance and meaning behind a story and its relation to yourself is definitely most important. in fact, at my school, we’re encouraged to steer away from those cliché stories, because honestly, EVERYONE is writing about their freaking mission trips in attempt to get into college, whether they happened or not lmao. and personally, i feel as though the significance of these trips is lost when the intent of it is to make yourself appear more qualified on a common application. just my word of advice. good luck applying to colleges & don’t stress too much

You can’t apply to UC Berkeley from the common app. So that makes me a little suspicious about his entire claim. The UC app is an entirely separate application with 4 personal insight questions that cap your words at 350-450 words.
I’m a junior and I’ve been working hard for the past two years on my grades but I know that the app is really important and I don’t know how to connect my spike to the rest of the app so I hope to learn how you did it. Love your videos!!
Muntu Munaf keep in mind it doesn’t have to be connected to a spike. Just remember that your app shows the admissions officer WHO you are. Because yes photography works. It what made his app special was the depth of the relationship going as far as giving the camera a name. I wrote about socks and sandals and how I use them as my icebreaker as well as how they push me to be more extroverted. I’ve read essays about how someone did the announcements at his school for two weeks and changed the way the announcement were made. One girls wrote about how Costco driver her curiosity. Another wrote about how living in a bad neighborhood shaped how he wanted to get out. It’s all about YOU and what makes YOU different even if the thing you do ( running, origami, photography) isn’t special or specific to one person.

During a college essay seminar I attended recently the speaker told me that it is usually fine to share your essays but it’s best to wait until after the entire acceptance process is finalized just to be completely safe. I think you should be fine but if i were you I would wait until officially enrolled to sell them. :-)
