I have a '22 Limited and my driving is mostly rural. During the summer months, I routinely get 35 and 36 mpg. (I have compared the dash against a separate GPS and the gallons at the pump and found the dash to be accurate, at least in my car.)
    What would I like:
At least on the NA models, there is NOT Dual X Mode on the Limited. Odd that they put it on the Sport and not the Limited. I am uncertain if that was added for the '23 model but I doubt it as it is a carry over year. (Not a bad thing.) Also, at this trim level, a heated steering wheel would be nice. This is a car that is easy to live with!

It's odd. The Canadian limited model does have a heated steering wheel, apart from chrome door handles and sport aluminum pedals. But no dual X mode

Nice review. We love our Subarus and Toyotas. Picking up our second crosstrek in a few weeks.

Just got the 2021 limited. Love the car in every way however i was surprised to see the manual passenger seat, no rear vents or heated rear seats like my 2018 limited legacy. But the mpg is surprisingly better (+2 mpg city), (+1 mpg highway). Plus i love the X mode. Plus i like the map turn display indicator. Sure no dual climate zone but i don't mind that, just odd that there is no rear vent. . Believe it or not, i got 40 mpg in a clear day @65 mph on cruise control which was +5 mpg than the rated highway mileage

Magnetite grey goes better with the black plastic trim in my opinion. Looking forward to the upgraded 2024. Worth the wait.

My 2023 Crosstrek Limited is Crystal Black has all the features that you have described! In Canada the door handles are chromed and the foot rest, accelerator peddle and brake peddle are made of aluminum which give the car a racing type feature! I am very pleased with my Crosstrek and find the seats very comfortable even though there is no lumbar adjustment! I also own a Honda CR-V Touring 2022 which my wife drives! The CR-V is a 1.5L Turbo and I find that the Crosstrek seems to be a little bit peppier than the CR-V probably because the CR-V is heavier! Also the sound of acceleration is a little bit quieter in the Crosstrek! My only complaint would be that the side mirror knob adjustment is too small in the Crosstrek!

What is the reliability vs Toyota?

At minimum, the Sport and Limited trims should both have power seats for driver and passenger, power access for rear passengers, both trims should have rear arm rest, and both should have LED headlights.

Should have front parking sensors too and
      Ext/Int colors you want . . back/black/black ???
      A 2.5 engine without so many problems and quicker than 8.8 - 9.0 for 0 - 60
A Buggy Plasma TV that is almost useless
A Rear Pwr LiftGate? Any Model?
      Rear Heating & AC?
      A CVT DipStick
      An Alarm that does something
      More Interior Room . . Slow & Tiny Inside & Out for $35K . . .
And filled with ignored problems from years ago . . .Of no value to me

@@jamesm.8392I own a 2018 limited legacy and 2021 limited Crosstrek. Personally I found it really strange that the legacy has heated rear seats and rear vents that the limited crosstreks doesn't. Also, not happy about the manual passenger seat. . I needed a second car quickly so I purchased this as it was well maintained, low miles and in excellent condition but honestly as much aas like driving both cars I don't like their CVT especially replacing the "lifetime" fluid every 30k miles. I got the car with Subaru's extended gold plus warranty from the previous owner so I'm all set for 100k miles but my next car will be a hybrid/ plug in hybrid with ECVT or a EV. Subaru makes decent cars but they have flaws and one has to be prepared for reliability bombs.

Needs power lift for the trunk. Not good for short people. Drink holder need to be further up for short people.

You seem like someone who hates Subaru 😂😂 . You have the choice not to own it without having to disparage it.

Maybe you should just go to whatever your favorite vehicle's TH-cam site and stop badmouthing Subaru. It would be appreciated.
