    Yesterday, I have also got an HV alert Error in my Tata Tiago EV. Already 2 days passed, but Tata Team could not diagnose the issue. I am getting an update to just wait until they find out the problem. Can you help me how critical is this issue? What about the Tata's safely for this problem even after they fix this in my car?

    It's BMS issue as only Nexon and Tigor are facing problem. BMS is not tripping off charging after 100% charge.
    Always it's safe to putting charging off after 95% SOC instead of waiting BMS to put it off.

      It’s not a BMS issue, this charger has an issue. We have faced the same issue on same charging company twice at different locations.
      It doesn’t happens with other chargers we have tried, it only happens at this company charger.

      गाड़ी चलते चलते जब 10% से नीचे आई तब continue HV अलर्ट शो होने लगा उसके बाद अब न तो DC फ़ास्ट चार्जर से चार्ज हो रही है न ही स्लो चार्जर से ,सर्विस सेंटर वालों के भी समझ मे नही आ रहा है कुछ ,सुबह से आकर बैठा हूँ

    Finally what was the conclusion?
    I am getting the same error message (HV critical alert) in my new tata nexon ev max..The car has just run 3200 kms. I have never used fast charger or 7.2 home charger (I always use 3.3 home charger). Two days ago I have charged the car until 100% and seems it has remained connected for a couple of hours..Then I drew it almost 50 kms before starting to show the error.. But the car is running smoothly..wil check with service team tomorrow

      @@tanyaelectronics2652 It resolved on its on by next day morning..drove almost 1500 kms after that..fast charged two times also..but never tried charging upto 100% again..

    I also faced the same issue in Mumbai at CSTM platform no.18 Tata Power charger and had to Tow the vehicle. It took me almost 10 days to get it fixed

      As I was informed by Tata Motors team, they do routine checking by running some codes and will give your vehicle back. Without any details on issue and resolution. Even my car they tow and then informed that there is no issue. I escalated the matter to some representative Mr. Anirudh but very dull and non satisfactory reply.

      It’s not just Tata EVs that are running into issues. Even ICE vehicles have huge reliability problems. At the service Center I saw new Tiago EV guys complaining about AC not working. Safari delivered 2 days back leaking water from the roof etc. so the reliability issues seem to be originating from the factory line itself. Goodness. What a dumb decision. 14 yrs with my WagonR duo and not once did it get me stranded like this.

    I have faced the same issue yesterday. But not with the charger this happened all of a sudden where AC stopped cooling suddenly and then after few mins the HV critical alert started blinking!! Finally its towed to the service center. And i am waiting for the vehicle check which gonna happen tomorrow. Hopefully!!

      @@sandeepkumar-cm4fd they took long time to fix and returned it but sadly it appeared again. It was hell for me as i was out with family with a n infant. Then they towed it, took more than 15 days and changed the HV battery. Its really very annoying. They didnt provide any alternative loaner car or any amount for my daily commute which was 100kms a day and cab cost was around 2.5-3k per day too and fro.

      Tata service centre saying 10 to 12 days will be resolved after battery bank replace. So don't buy tata product mostly ev 12 to 13 lack after expenses then mood off so my humble request don't buy tata product service poor .
      And my purchase date since 1 month only . If any buddy suggest buy back police or

      Bhai info has been given about error let’s wait as the resolution has not been cleared from both parties. Let’s wait for it. Atleast we know there is a problem with the charger in that area.

      Exactly. And chargefgrid is just the provider. No mention of the company of the charger. Chargegrid doesn't manufacture chargers. Abb/Delta does. Mention the charger company. 🤦

    The high voltage battery error comes in mg zs ev as well. It's not tata specific . If there is a voltage fluctuation in the grid, the battery will shut down to protect it. It's better to avoid these chargers on the unreliable grids.

    Good luck with analysing the issue and getting misled into so many irrelevant conclusions. Whatever analysis TATA MOTORS should be doing is being done by owners of their EVs. Happened to me twice on my Nexon EV prime. and till date they dint mention what the issue is. I never used fast charger in 6 months. Daily charged from home charger

    I have a EV MAX , I too faced the similar Error when the battery of below 10 % , I was about to call towing Van but after 15-20 min that error gone , next day i reported to Service Centre they kept my car for 8-10 days for monitoring . according to them they have not seen the error and gave back the car . now I am asked to monitor . keeping fingures crossed.

      Tata service center laptop connect kar k error nikal diya. Aur tata ke chargers par aaj tak aisa problem nahi aaya, hum ek bar phir se check karenge

    The charge grid charger at khalapur has an output of 145kw. Neither Tata nor MG have capability to withstand that much input. In India I think only Kia EV6 and BYD E6 have the capability of that kind of input. I own a BYD and it charges properly there. I have seen this happen to a tigor EV which was charging before me, the towing van took 5hrs to reach. Request EV users to not charge at station with high output like khalapur, you are just degrading your battery. Use the 30kw output tata charger at the station before HP instead. Also TATA EVs have Max input capability of 25 kw and MG zs ev has 50kw.

      Maybe max output 145KW divided by max number of cars connected at same time. So 3 cars will be 45KW to 50KW each. Hope this helps

      @@sirajkhan-bx5zl one of the three charging slots is a slow 7.5kw charger.So it is adviceable that no Tata car should charge here or they can bare the damage to car circuit and battery.

    I charge only on home charger and still facing this critical error once the SOC goes below 18%. Goes into limp mode at 17% SOC and in 2-3 kms it shifts to neutral all of a sudden

      @@NoiseFaktory they pulled out the fuel lid and charging socket actuator, removed the dirt a bit and connected it back. It started charging. Once it charged upto 50%, they checked for any errors on the ECU and reset them.
      I’m yet to drain it to 20% to see if the limp mode gets activated and shows the same HV critical alert. Hopefully not. I’ll get it checked more thoroughly when I give it for service next weekend. But it’s a huge reliability issue for sure. Maybe the chargin socket actuator collects a lot of dirt as it’s not covered. A recall might be on the charts soon for it

    It's likely a charger issue which is not reliable and can't be charged above 90% SOC. Magenta's Charge grid (Okaya charger) and Tata both need to rectify this issue of High voltage Critical issue.
    As per Watchmen and Towing team it's (Okaya's) Charge Grid needs to fix this issue.
    ADVICE: Don't charge your vehicle more than 90% SOC. Thank you.

      It’s recommended not to fast charge the car till 100% but we were unable to stop it from the app as it wasn’t showing any option to stop. Till the time our friend reached at the station the car was at 100%

      @@NoiseFaktory very useful video for me personally. I use this charger many times but only for 20 minutes. I will make sure not to charge 100%. There is some problem with the chargegrid app. It doesn't show the stop button. But I was able to get hold of the watchman who pressed the red stop button on the front panel to stop charging session.

      This happened to me without fast charging. I used fast charger like 4 months back.. rest of the time slow charging at home. Tata service folks won’t give out details of what exactly happened. They just reset the errors and gave back the car. I’m sure this’ll happen again and I’m doomed

    Bro i'm from Delhi & using Tata Tigor Petrol Automatic last approx 2 years... And believe me i'm fed-up with this car... Every after 6 months it is ready with new issue, it starts from ruining my life with auto lock-unlock issue in moving car then whole AMT is changed then clutch is changed and when i'm writing here this comment my car is in service center from past 10 day as reverse gear is not engaging.

      Humne video mein bola hai, we had 3rd servicing pending plus our car had wheel problem so it took 3 days. About the problem, they had to connect the laptop to remove the error

    Kind of blame game going on it seems. It is scary to know that things are still not dependable. There should be some regulation to he brought on type of charging equipment and also for car makers on putting in some mechanism in place for over charging etc.

    I had similar issues multiple times and had horrible issues. There was no proper response from Tata Motors. Tata Motor support team is very pathetic and don't even consider Tweets and posts on social media. I have Nexon, I faced the same issue the first time when I was coming back from Mahabaleshwar. The only exception is, I charged it at Pune Tata Motor dealers place.

      @@NoiseFaktory No. But I had this issue three times in 2021. First in oct 21 when I was coming back from Mahabaleshwar and then twice in Nov 21. As I recall, all the time issues came after fast charging and in all 3 incidences, just before issue, I used Tata Power's charging points.
      Issue again came in March 22, during my Son's board exam.

    For my tiago ev its limb mode activated vehicle don't go more than 45+ cooling get auto off sometimes it will work showing limited performance on display . Limb mode get activated in 65% of charge in the vehicle😢
