    I think range is not the most fearful but this kind of situation is.

    I had faced the same issue not once but thrice! Once i was stranded 400kms away from home! But after taking guidance from service manager and advisor, they just told me that the red traingle sign that you got early in this video is for high voltage error. This usually happens when battery is heated a lot! At this time you need to wait till battery cools down on itself or you wont even be able to charge your car till that sign goes off. This usually happens when the coolant is not rotating through battery channels to cool it down and that is because tour battery is low!
    Now for the turtle sign it means limited performance. Had it been only turtle sign then still you can reach home as the car wont go in neutral mode and you can charge it too.
    I also tried the same solution that you showed in this video of removing the negative of aux battery but it dint work in my case so i had to wait for the battery to cool down by itself.

    This would help Nexon EV owners to understand Limited performance error and Critical Error.
    This issue is well know to Tata Motors and they know the root cause of this issue which is the faulty battery pack cells.
    Solution of this issue is to replace all the faulty cells of the battery pack which could take few weeks time.
    In my case even after replacing the cells this issue was not fixed and finally the battery pack was replaced with a new Battery pack in May 2024. It took 2 months for me to get a new battery pack after multiple follow up and escalation up to GM level.
    This issue is very common with the 1st Gen Nexon EV which are more than 2 years old now.
    Take away from this video is always carry extension cable to charge your EV in case of emergency like this !!

    Bro recently i recently observed that my Nexon EV Max battery % gets drop rapidly for every 1.2 Km once its below 20%. I hardly allow my car battery drop below 25% for charging. Currently i am clueless. Can any one suggest what could be the issue

    I have seen that if you charge regen level to 0, then the car can be shifted to D....and it will be drivable

    My Nexon ev xz plus. Yesterday stoped in 30% charging.and showing HV critical alert from last 2 months like when ever battery goes down 70%.
    Given to venkatramana moters, auto nagar, Hyderabad.
    Let us see what will happen????
    Service technicals needs to confirm.
    Insurance time period is over. No extended warranty. As of now have only 3rd party insurance.
    Vehicle purchased on 11/2020.

      Any update I’m having the same issue, HV error and limp mode. I gave it to the service centre in Hyderabad, they took 3 days yet to take my car

    Press ignition once again drive mode will work. Try this whenever it happens and thank me later.
    Problem: Ignition is inactive so double press start button, it will resolve the problem.

      even 1 Battery cell can cause whole battery useless, so BYD blade battery may be better in upcoming cars​@@EVolution-Nick

    From another comment I got to know you are yet to lodge a complaint with Tata. After this incident, have you discharged below 17-18% again to see if the problem happened again or not?

      Good question.. so I was trying to do cell calibration and cell balancing with a series of charging cycles. It did not work. Last time my car stopped at 26 %. So now I have lodged a complaint.. videos will come out soon

    I also own a nexon ev xz+ lux black...nd im frm barasat bt didn't face any issues like gear shifting till now its almost 2 yrs and i hve driven 35000km ...i hve also tested the car till 1% charge in my locality nd so happy with it ❤...i hope someday we will meet at karunamoyee😁😁😁..

    Today my battery went down suddenly from 48 pecent to 12 percent within 8 minutes and 7km....Now I m watching these type of videos...Tata emergency assistance took 1hr and 7 minutes to book Tow service who will take another 60 mins to reach( after full bahas with customer care)...This Car I bought just before 30 days

      This happened with me today, Battery suddently drop from 52 to 25% in 10 min.
      Tata SC guy said to charge from 5% to 100%

      Blame few faulty cells in the battery pack, BMS is not able to handle improper internal resistance of the unbalanced cells,
      TATA needs to use either 4680 battery cell or BYD blade battery technology

    Disconnect battery negative terminal for 10 minutes and reconnect voila your ev issues will be fixed. Like a reboot of a computer sytsem.

    EV infrastructure needs to improve. I believe GOI should promote hybrid cars till there are sufficient number of charging stations. If this happens in the middle of nowhere then what will the person do? Is there any power bank you can carry in case of emergency situations like this ? If yes do get it.

      Not possible till 2035 entire grid is being updated to handle better load but it's slow and long process,
      It is a part of carbon net neutrality.
