I’ve played Side Pocket since I was a kid( not my most favorite game, just had it a long time) and I’ve always been mesmerized with how smooth the animation is of the pool cue sliding through the finger was.
In this video you'll watch 200 games you need to play on SNES/SFC in my opinion (the games are in random order). To me these are the 200 best games on the console.. Which game would you add to that list?
from the top of my head i'd add gs mikami, gumans proof, all 3 fire emblem games, the firemen, the ignition factor, bs f-zero 2, gundam wings, front mission, front mission gun hazard, tactics ogre: let us cling together and actraiser 2
Very, very few game systems can match the SNES's amazing library of games. The only ones that come to mind for me are the PS1 and PS2, but that's really about it. Some may argue for the Genesis, NES, or 360, but I just don't think they have quite as many great titles. I mean, maybe the NES does, but the NES was very lacking in RPG's (unless you add the Famicom titles to the mix.) The SNES, PS1, and PS2 had an unbelievable amount of fantastic games across all genres. You just can't beat those.
hey can you do this for some other Consoles, this kind of video is really cool, because you get to see games worth playing but some new ones two, unlike the same 10 or 20 games in every video. :)
I haven't played ten of these games, one of my favorite libraries, honestly. It's SNES, Genesis, GBA, DS, play 2 and computer....I really don't touch new consoles...maybe the switch??? Who knows...
I played my SNES from Xmas 1991 to September 1995 (when I got PS1) and during that time I think I played maybe 25% of the games shown in this video lol. That being said....it’s amazing how many new games Nintendo continued to produce for the SNES even a couple of years after PS1 came out.

I never realized how many double dragon style beat em ups there were on SNES. Alot of people say Playstation but I think the SNES is the greatest console ever released.

How could I forget about SOUL BLAZER? That game along with TARANEGMA( is it misspelled?) and the other one by the same company are f**king amazing. I forgot to add these to my list.
I fell asleep at about the 15:50 mark, right where I used to when I played EVO in the 1990s. That music coupled with boring and monotonous grinding never kept my attention. I bought that game from Blockbuster Video for $9.99 before it gained a cult following. I played it for a few weeks and quickly got tired of it, so I sold it to Funcoland for some store credit. The $400 price tag it now has is only for its rarity - not playability. Such an overrated title. Am I a tad bitter I practically threw away a rare and expensive title? Of course, hindsight is such a depressing thing, but I certainly don't miss playing it.
A lot of people crap on that game, they call it clunky, it isn't. To me it plays buttery smooth, and has that challenge that keeps you coming back to get better and better at it. Plus not to mention, no annoying town building sections, though Professional Mode, once unlocked, turns the first game into all action as well.
You ALMOST got all the essentials. Though the omission of Mega Man 7 is suspect. Live-A-Live I highly recommend for this list too as we’re covering Super Famicom games too! It’s an essential JRPG in terms of ones we never got in the west!!
All or most of these games should already be on the switch, what are you doing Nintendo?. Get off your arse. And yes I know emulators, I use them as well. Just saying.
I remember renting the Tiny Toons game when I was a young teen and absolutely hating it because of the terrible controls. I don't know why that game keeps making these lists.
Never had an SNES and for dumb reasons I hated those types of games (I suck at playing classic sonic in generations). Now I'm experiencing the magic of final fantasy 6(so good),and sparkster absolutely BANGS, and I can do it all on my modded 2ds xl, LESSS GO!

Actraiser 2 is *not* a good game! They took out the simulation mode which was very unique and fun, making it just another platformer instead. That alone was bad enough, but they also decided to make it so damn hard that it's nearly impossible to beat even the first level without cheating.
@@JMFSpike I put Actraiser 2 in back in the 90s and thought this is nothing like the first one and that I sucked at games because I could not even get through the first level.
@@noahgaming8833 The stock Genesis could not run Doom, the SNES had to have a special chip to run it, but still ran it without an addon. Otherwise, if that is why you think the Genesis had better graphics, get better glasses, or glasses period, because they aren't. The 32X however, was a massive failure for Sega.
Genesis wasn't all arcade type games, it had it's share of RPG's and adventure games. People who think Genesis was all arcade stuff have not dived deep enough into it's software library. SNES also had it's share of arcade type games, and arcade ports.

@@ma90pr That's why you play the Japanese versions. Outside of the Japanese Samurai Shodown/Spirits, which is censored in Japan, and MK 2, which is censored over there,everything else tends not to be censopred at all. NOA had the stick up their asses, NOJ was far more lax on policies like that.

I would add Aero the Acrobat, Magic Sword and BS Zelda. And I think its awesome you got Goof Troop on here.
You should check out The Fireman...its probably the 2nd best game USA missed out just behind Terranigma:)

The PSP has a very vast library with many exclusive gems, I'd say it's better than snes

Personally I put Taranigma up there with Link to the Past and Chronotrigger. Beautiful games
