Our pleasure!
Afternoon tea is a refined, elegant ritual for light refreshments in the afternoon, while high tea is a more substantial, practical meal typically served in the early evening.
Thanks for explaining 🙂
An high tea may include fish 'n' chips.
Afternoon tea and high tea are actually two different occasions that define a social status of two groups of people, in those days.
Afternoon tea was often served at a low table in a parlor or drawing room and thus called 'low' tea or 'afternoon tea'…enjoyed by upper échelonnés of English society.
In contrast, High Tea is for manors’ servants in the kitchen after a hard day's work, and was served in the early evening over high tables, hence it called high tea.
A really fresh take on vlogging in KL. Usually its vloggers who cover the inexpensive sites and restaurants....nice to see a family enjoying the kind of haute cuisine that are available in KL and the kind of high end quality service a 5 star hotel can offer discerning visitors. Nicely done.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the kind words 🙏
Welcome back to our beloved Malaysia...😊
Thank you! 😃
Such a happy and sweet family with a nice content. Really hope all of you have a memorable moment in 🇲🇾 ✌️.
Malia, it sounds like Malaysia... 😎✨
Thank you so much!!
welcome to malaysia sir...have d nice day sir✌️😁🇲🇾....
Thank you! You too!
Afternoon tea is just tea with some sandwiches and pastries on few layers of trays while high tea has more varieties sort of buffet style with sweet and savoury food. Genting highlands which is just an hour’s drive from KL up the mountain should be an option with cool weather and attractions
Thanks for the info!
awesome video . welcome ..back to Malaysia.
Thanks! 😃
We recently came across your channel and have been binge watching your Thai adventures. Such a charismatic family full of positive vibes.. cheers for putting out some amazing content.
As for KL recommendations, a day trip to Genting highlands or Penang would be good if you have time.

Afternoon Tea is a drink and snack at about 2:30-3:30pm ish. its like breakfast, its just a thing you can do at a certain time of day. High tea is the experience. Being served a fancy afternoon tea, usually actual tea and pastries. Whereas for afternoon tea it could easily be coffee and a biscuit. Or a tea and a sandwich. Or my favourite as a kid, juice and friend potatoes. High tea is the mini cupcakes, slices, tea and club sandwiches. Where you sit around pretending your a royal being served cakes in the afternoon.
Interesting take on it 🙂
I hope you can stay until 31/8\2023 we have independence Day in Malaysia we call hari merdeka in dataran Merdeka kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾🇲🇾🫡🫡hope you all enjoy in Malaysia
Unfortunately we left already but that sounds amazing 😊
Yeah you should extended your stay till Our Merdeka Celebration day😊

Kidzania & Legoland quite famous too.

Mlysia is amongst the world best for tourist attraction..u shuold go to cameron highland .gnting higland n our green rainforest n langkawi n tioman island..it s such a beautiful scenery u can discover..enjoy yourself
Thanks for the suggestions 😀
I think high tea is more like ‘ tea’ in some parts of the UK, referring to early dinner or supper, afternoon tea is scones kind of thing .
It seems everyone has a different idea of what it is. But I love that 😊
Do come to Malaysia again
We will!
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾. Enjoy your trip here. Kindly bring your kid to KidZania Kuala Lumpur and theme park at Genting Highlands. You could go to Genting by bus in the morning and back to KL at night. Your kid would love Genting theme park. Happy trip.
Thanks for the tips. We went to KidZania and filmed a vlog! Stay tuned 😉
Great idea. Let's not forget the large aquarium at the Petronas Twin Towers (Aquaria KLCC) and also the amazing Petrosains, a perfect science museum for the little girl.
I never have Afternoon Tea either, never heard before, most of the time I always do Hi Tea, maybe afternoon tea are after lunch hour.
First time for everything 😊
Afternoon tea is served at 4pm and consists small cakes pastries and crustless triangle sandwiches..High tea is later than 5pm and includes more hearty meat and savoury items.
I love to hear all the perspectives on this 🙂
welcome
Thank you
Hi Hi, welcome, and most of the places, you can request your food & drinks to be less spicy (ku-rang pe-das) or less sweet (ku-rang ma-nis) due to M'sian "high" spicy tolerance and over sweetness
Thanks for the tips! We just didn't expect it at the airport and Ina wasn't quite prepared for it 🤣
Hi lovely fam, welcomed to Malaysia. You may want to bring your lil girl to KL indoor theme park at Berjaya Times Square Mall or IOI Mall.. Or outdoor theme park at Genting Highland or if she likes swimming activity you can bring her to the largest lagoon pool at Sunway Lagoon ... She might like it. Enjoy your stay :) To know Malaysia is to love Malaysia...
Great suggestions 😊
To be specific it’s IOI City Mall in Putrajya as IOI mall most local will be referring to the one in Puchong. Both malls belong to a local conglomerate IOI Group
afternoon tea is simple. Just tea and a piece of pastry. Hi tea is a short form of high class tea time like the one you had.
Interesting...
From what other people are saying it's actually the opposite...
@@WhereNextFamily you can check this term at Royal Chulan Hi Tea.
❤
❤️
Thank you 😊
it's really nice to see your family enjoying the hotel that much. People usually book nice hotels but spend all day long outside and never really enjoy hotels until bed time. Btw, is it a sponsored stay ?
We really wanted to make the most of the hotel 😊
It was an invitation stay
enjoy :) can't wait to see your next videos !!@@WhereNextFamily
Your son very cute
Our daughter 😉 but thank you 🙏
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
u must go to genting
Thanks 🙂
Recently singapore moved their bird park to mandai previously it was at jurong. Which is Asia's largest.
Kuala Lumpur still has the world's largest 'free flight aviary'.
@@cleanenergyinside1921 mandai I saw video it is free flight as well. The area size is bigger.
@@keangwooichoo6138 Not sure about that? Because Singapore has not issued a claim to fame yet. Lets see if they do so soon. Thanks for the info.
Interesting. I've only seen information to suggest that KL has the biggest but who knows 🤷🏻
@WhereNextFamily yes they too hv more than 7000 birds like us. And area size is larger too. So I am just curious how it works out.
Other attractions too have some "conflict"
Example:
1) steepest cable car : Norway vs langkawi, tri cable vs single cable
2) biggest hotel by rooms: Moscow vs genting highlands
3) bird park: kl vs mandai singapore
What is certain, 31st August we will open merdeka 118, the 2nd tallest building in the world.
Afternoon tea is typically served around 4pm, while high tea tends to be served later in the afternoon (around 5- 7 pm).
Interesting 😊
That flag you used in the thumbnail is actually state flag of Federal Territory.
Malaysian flag looks similar to US flag
I have just realised 😅
That croissant....too good to eat...so beautiful...i would want to keep it as a pet ..!
It's so good!
Malia and the bidet 😂😂😂😂 awesome croissants 👀….. who the hell comes from England and not partaken in afternoon or high tea 🤔🤨😂😂. I think the difference is one is more sweet treat and the other savoury. Great video guys 😊
It's just not something I've ever wanted to do 🤣
I like eating meals, not tasting tiny sandwiches 🤣
@@WhereNextFamily to be honest my opinion is the same as yours, fairly overrated but I can see why some people like it
Your husben like jason momoa aquaman.. hehe.. welcome to malaysia. For your family.
Thanks! 😃
Always ask no spicy less sugar or no sugar if you order menu mungkin mereka boleh tolong buatkan apa yang kamu mahu
True!
Hi
Thanks for awesome videos
Which website did u use to get the accommodation for 1 month in chiang mai for 600$
Thanks so much. We found on AirBnB
👍👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
❤️
You carry so much luggage like you are moving country lol
Malia is the right age to take travelling
She is adorable
😂😂😂
Everything we own is in our bags. Remember we don't "live" anywhere. We travel full time, so we kind of are moving country every time we travel 🤣
I think we do OK considering we fit all of our possessions into 3 big suitcases 🙂
👋👋👋😘😘
🙏
Another animal park is the 99 wonderland park.
Thanks 🙂
You can never have enough spiciness and heat!😂
I agree! Ina doesn't 🤣
Afternoon tea is mid day right? Hi-tea is 3pm onwards
🤷🏻♂️
Malia.. the name Very in sync with Malaysia 😂
It's close 🙂
Kuala lumpur bukan ibu kota tapi layak vrovinsi. Tdak luas
🤔
Are you sure both of you aren't movie stars? 😁
Pretty sure 😊

Malaysia is Muslim dominant country right ?
Yes predominantly the population is Muslim, although there are also many Hindus and other faiths
You look a little like Aquaman
🤣
don't go to ipoh and penang... better go to melaka, taiping and langkawi 🙂
Thanks for the recommendations 😊
Your posts are brilliant with one exception: The awful YT bumper "Music". It is loud, unpleasant, and very far from musical. It's just noise.
If this is what AI has in store, Heaven help us.
Thanks for the feedback
bald jason momoa in kl...
😁😁😁
🤣
You left Thailand!!!! Unsubscribe
We went to KL for 4 days last month.
Still in Thailand 😉
I’m just kidding. I like this channel. Im a single father with a 3 year old daughter and I have full custody. I’m considering doing this travel thing myself.
very poor and dangerous country…not worth visit…SKIP!!!
Couldn't disagree more! Very safe country with amazing people - VISIT!
