- Kuala Lumpur just keeps surprising us! Not only does this amazing city have endless things to do for adults, but we're discovering this could be one of the best cities in the world to go with kids!
We went to explore some of KL's child friendly attractions and found a new type of interactive playground that totally changes the way you'll think about kids activities!
Where to go with kids in Kuala Lumpur?
Batu Caves is a short drive from the city so no bored, grumpy kids in the back of the taxi. The journey to Batu Caves takes just 20 minutes by taxi/Grab and is a wonderful free activity that every member of the family can enjoy

KidZania may just be our new favourite place that we've ever taken Malia. This is a fully immersive role play city for kids of all ages (probably not worth taking kids under 3yrs). The can pretend to do all kinds of different professions and earn their own money by doing them! At the end they can either spend their money on more "fun" experiences or save it up and buy something from the gift shop!

Kenny Hills Bakers was the perfect way to end our family day out. They have amazing cakes, and desserts. We seriously filled our boots here and it was some of the best baked goods we've had in Kuala Lumpur!

Never heard of KidZania until now but I'm impressed by the number of professions they have in that mock city. It's certainly a great place for kids to learn what adults do for a living
We had heard of it but frankly knew very little about it. This blew us away though 😊
That "job game" is actually a very good educational tool for kids that age. It's learning with fun - priceless.

Our thoughts exactly! We had never been before and were really pleasantly surprised with how immersive it is. It really gets them to understand the concept of earning (and spending) money 🙂

Whoa😊... Kidzania is a zany place! Thanks for the insight - now we know what it is. Smart concept.... get real companies to fund (beats regular advertisement as they get kids to participate)..... add firetrucks, ambulances in the mock up town, etc etc!

Kids friendly, and affordable prices
1. Zoo Negara... Then lunch in the stream at Kemensah BBq Lamb
2. Pusat Sains Negara, Bukit Kiara... They also have a water play area at the back
3. The Shah Alam Library, I-City
4. Petrosains and Aquaria, KLCC
5. The Splashmania Gamuda Cove
6. Or the Amverton Riverine water park at Pulau Carey, you can also go to the Mahmeri Cultural Village there
then onwards to Pulau Ketam, a fishing village off the shores of Klang
7. Kuala Selangor - Sekinchan - Sungai Besar area.... STAY AT A HOMESTAY and join the activities such as catching fish by barehands, go to the rice factory, Firefly watching, blue tears and also Taman alam (nature park - mangroves), and otw back to KL the Selangor Fruit Farm/Valley
8.Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary
9 Sungai Klah Hotspring, also the wildlife conservation centre there.

KL Bird Park is also an interesting place to bring the kids....feeding the birds. but make sure to check the weather forecast...KL is quite rainy this week. :)

It seems that you don't claim any toys using the money you get at Kidzania. There are one redemption shop near the pizza makin shop and driving school
There was nothing worth buying as Malia spent a lot of her money on experiences. We encourage her to spend money on experiences rather than cheap toys 😊

What do you guys do for a living that allows you to travel full time?
Maybe make a video about that.
Or a course and sell it for $500 each 🤣
We have several businesses that we run online.
1. Social media management
2. Content creation for clients
3. TH-cam (ad revenue isn't huge but it all adds up)
4. Tour agency where we take people on adventure holidays
5. Not a revenue, but bear in mind that often our hotel stays are gifted in exchange for the exposure or we will create content for the hotel to cover the cost of the stay
Maybe we should do an update video of how we manage to travel full time 🙂
I think you should make a course about that and sell for $500 each. You have the benefit of being a travel channel. You get a lot more views here than a finance or make money channels. With a quick little mention about your course in every other video. I think you'd do really well.
