    Finally, somebody simply explains where to cast while shore fishing. It's a lot of videos out there that are making it over complicated

    Love it when I see a friendly Fisherman happy to share his knowledge with strangers on the beach. Keep up the good vibes and may the fish gods reward you for your good deeds! I've been Pompano fishing here on the FL West coast for many years but it's been quite a while since I've tipped my pompano rigs with fishbites or sand fleas. Usually straight up beads and a teaser gets the job done when they are running. Maybe it's time to vary my setups going forward. Thanks for sharing the content! Tight Lines!

      I created this channel not only to share my experiences, but to help others gain more knowledge about the outdoors. I’m always experimenting with float/bead combos to find what works best for my area/conditions. Thanks for the positive feedback!

      @@drivebyquipperbesides his favorite location, what dident he share? He shared his rigs, bait, sinker, sand fleas, fish bites, how to catch and hook sandfles, where to cast, why to cast there, where to move when tide gets really low, ex ex . What In gods name do you want to know? And what do you think he didn’t explain. Sounds like you need a guide to hold your hand, rig your rod and cast it for you smh 🤦‍♂️ start going to the beach everyday and learn yourself then

      @flapjackson6077 yes! I love those rods. You just can’t beat them for the price. I usually use 3 or 4 oz Sinker Guy sputniks depending on the current. You should be just fine with 3 oz in Destin. Thank you for your support!

    Going to Florida tomorrow for a week, going to try this style of fishing - i have zero experiencewith salt water fishing aside from some charters here and there. I'll have some pliers with me, what did you do with the sting ray? Did you end up finding your pliers? Just dont want to get stung by one of those things while trying to remove the hook. Did you just cut the line?

    • @Thats_That_Dude
      @Thats_That_Dude  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did find my pliers eventually. I just used the pliers to remove the hook and scooted him back into the water. If you get some fresh shrimp and a pompano rig, you should be able to catch some fish in the surf. Good luck out there!

  • @fishesfromtupperware
    @fishesfromtupperware ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the vid! You know its funny , but most "beach reading" vids show overheads or drone shots. You talk a lot more about what you see from beach level (like where most people fish!) I don't think I've heard anyone mention that the trough/runout is where the foam goes out the farthest. In other words what you can easily see from the beach at beach level. Thanks again!

    • @Thats_That_Dude
      @Thats_That_Dude  ปีที่แล้ว

    You shouldn't drag the fish all the way up the beach if you plan to let it go. You are removing their slim coating. I don't think that is good for the fish. Just saying.

      Yeah, if you want to save the population then don't fish. You're not doing any good by catching that fish and releasing it. Many times the fish will die anyways, because of the wound, stress, etc.
