Bush thank you for being so transparent with your locations and tips! Other anglers just take this too serious and i believe you always have such good content because of your laidback spirit and willingness to put others on the bite!you’re the man much love from the family from RI
I couldn’t agree more. Bushi is special and the only Tampa Bay Area TH-camr who shares the locations. I’ve really learned a lot from him and he’s fun to fish with if you run into him.
Totally agree. Certainly has made me a better local angler for certain species especially pompano. Hes a good down to earth dude and a family man. Respect
You are my favorite angler in the Tampa area. Why? Because you teach exactly HOW, WHERE, & WHEN to do it. I like this style of video as it motivates me to get my butt up early and get out there! The early bird gets the FISH - ON 🐟
Super good fisherman, you make all of these spots look so easy! Appreciate your channel, I’m getting pumped to start fishing next month here in SE Tennessee.
I’ve hit all the classic pompano shore spots in Tampa. LOTS of jigging hours. Never even got one keeper yet. Stopped going after them after a couple years. Glad to see someone’s getting a couple now & then
Love your vid on catching pompano, have you ever fished ROC park in Maderia beach for pompano. Will be coming down to Maderia in November and saw this place that looked good.
Skyway NG today. picked 1 nice pomp at blind pass headed to E.G. Simmons , got some short Trout. and big Ladies. I have to find Clearwater pass.Looks like a nice place.
especially if you eat them fresh they're pretty good my kids like them. But you know me I prefer pompano better. Happy Thanksgiving my friend and thank you for watching 😄💪
Good morning can help me I'm starting in fishing here in Jacksonville and I know nothing can tell me where I can go fishing pampano from the coast with jig from already thank you very much
🌴 hey my friend well another great day , it looks like it’s a bit windy but ya gotta go with the flow , at least you weren’t getting cooked out there , and flipper wasn’t harassing you , looks like you were covering alot of area’s , always fun watching seeing what and where you were at and what you caught as always ,tight lines ! 👊🏼✌️
Weeyyyyy my brother guve me a date so we can meet over there i see that side where you at from the beach but i dint try to see how i get there so give me a date so we can fish nice video 👏👏👏👏👏
I was fishing there about 2am . Chest deep in the water, line tossed out middle of the deep drop; live pin fish....I saw a shadow coming towards me a shadow of a big truck over the bridge I thought...until bristled hairs scrubbed my thighs like sandpaper on a how to On this old House. Eye contact was made with this thousand pound manatee; my eyes say I just pissed my pants his or hers lol
It is now a good time to catch. Early in the morning, 2 hours prior and after tide changes (incoming tide preferred), calm weather condition (7 mph wind speed or less). Always make sure your jig stays bottom or you will catch lady and Spanish mackerel.

Great video bro. Have to find that spot.
Thank you pretty easy my friend Clearwater Sand key Park 😄💪
Hello, do I run my leader through both jig and teaser? or just through the coil that connected the jig and teaser?
I don't use that ring I go through the jig and the teaser if yours comes with the ring just tie on the ring
@@FishOnChannel thanks
The #1 rule for catching pompano is to fish an area where pompano are present. The Clearwater Pass seawall is a good spot to locate them.
you got that right 😄💪
which rod,reel,line u use to catch popping….?
I'm using a medium power fast action rod 10 lb main line 20 lb leader 3000 size reel. Down on my description you have all the links to everything
Thank you Mr. Bush.
Thank you for watching my friend 😄💪
Hi, where can I buy that exact same jig? yellow and white
Most of bait shops have them
Great video,Bush! Is the parking lot still open to public at Clearwater Pass?
Yeah they're done with construction is open
Slayed ‘em!
Thank you
Very good from Brazil 👍🇧🇷.
Thank you I appreciate you watching
I love fishing in Brazil .
That’s awesome to catch pampano
We are going to get them soon on that new pier 😀💪
Fish on! Do you think the cold weather affects mangrove snappers?
Yes it does send them on deeper waters
I am from India which rod ,reel line u use please explain.
Medium power fast action rod
Did the hurricane damage the docks?
Nope they took them off 😄
Does jigging for Pompano work on the east coast of Florida, too?
I see guys catching them around Daytona jetties
@@FishOnChannel Nice! That's right by where I'm at.
@@AllenIsbell I was thinking trying Ponce inlet very soon
Fish at a no transpassing spot near picnic island, caught 3mangrove snapper, went to picnic island, caught a spade fish, pinfish, pigfish, 2 reds
Not bad that's a good day 😄💪
Tight work on the Pompano Mr. Bush. Can't find them Orange teasers.

Did you fish honeymoon island a few days ago?
Yeah I was there trying to get some pompano in the pass.
I was fishing right next to you lol. I just was catching small trout, that day was tough.
How heavy is your jig?
I was using a half ounce on this video 😄💪
where is the first place bro ❤
Sand key 😃💪
could I have the location please.
Clearwater pass
@@FishOnChannel thank you
what bridge is this.
My last pompano was at Tierra Verde Bridge
15”er is great!
11 inch and more more then enough to keep why doyou worry about and a half or quater after 11
I don't like to keep fish on a DOT has to be half inch or 1 inch bigger for me to keep
@@FishOnChannel minimum 11 inch isnt it? do you need to count after 11?

Haha there are some big sharks
I am starting to lose hope, using same technique and haven’t caught a fish in over a month.
You have to go in specific places each time of the year right now they're being catching them on bridges
@@FishOnChannel thanks I’ll try. Going to take a break feel like I am burning out.
