Tip for the chicken garbage: If you aren't cutting your chicken up on garbage day, put the trimmings into a plastic bag and put it in the freezer. Garbage day, take it out of the freezer and put it in the garbage bag. It won't smell!

Better yet, add it to the pot the next time you make chicken soup! No waste.

A couple things: (1) Try the McCormicks Garlic Herb & Wine marinade packets to kick up the flavor; (2) You really can’t go by minutes as he has stated. That’s what works for him on HIS grill. It’s always best to use a thermometer. Sear the first side, until the part of the chicken touching the grates begins to turn white, then flip. You’ll know when it’s ready to flip, when the protein stops sticking to the grates. After a few minutes on the other side, test the temp using a thermometer. Take the chicken off at 155°-160°. After it’s off the grill, tent with foil and carry-over heat should continue to rise and take the temp to 165°, which is considered the safe temperature for chicken. Invest in a set of GRILL GRATES if you want killer grill marks. Pro Tip: Infuse EVEN more grill flavor by making a foil pack with wood chips (if you’re using a gas grill).
