Good job mate, have you tried shark byte? I think you would like it. You could use the some TH-cam footage of shark byte and play it in the goggles via the hdmi for a test
I've got the EV800D as well very good Goggles. Yes i do recommend these but lots of trouble with skyzone recievers at the moment these are same as 04X recievers so be aware and buy from a local hobby shop where you can take it back if alls not well!also dont update the firmware if it works ok from new lots of people have troubles.see this yourself on facebooks skyzone site.mines been great and not updated goggle firmware or reciever firmware.

Yeah I hear you but that's the chance you have to take unfortunately. Hopefully you'll be lucky and get one that works OK.they now do a V2 and its them to seem the problem. At your price I would think it will be the V1 like mine which will be better.good luck.

Wasn't too impressed with sharkbyte but only going on what I've seen online.bit of a FAFF setting it up and expensive for what it does.

Hi! These are now USD 330. Would you recommend these as a first slim goggles? I'm coming from an ev800D.
