my first car is the lupo 1.4 16v and ive managed to swap it for a 6n2 gti, getting it road worthy through the week and will be ripping about in it for years to come
Just watched the video, very nice work! I especially liked the camera positions from the outside, great stuff. I also drive a 6N2 but the 1 litre 50 hp model, so it's sadly not that fast :( However, it still makes fun to throw it around corners and I agree with your "analog experience" part: My car doesn't even have power steering, traction control or air conditioning! You really are on your own when driving this car. Hope to see more of your content!
Thaanks! - yeah I should do more vidoes with my Polo maybe? - My car like yours does not have power steering either and the other things are not up to date - lets put it that way. But its fun!
Im from germany and about to turn 18. I literally grew up in this car. My dad brought it as soon as it came out so its 6 years older than me. He put so much love into this car and i also got to help with installing some of all the features he added (new clutch, music boxes, touch par, etc...) Now that I got my drivers license a view months ago we did nothing but practice in this little thing. As soon as I turn 18 I will be able to drive it all alone. I really love this car and because of german Highways and traffic training areas I really experienced the Limits of it. I am just glad my dad taught me how to properly love a car. You can have so much fun with this! I just grinned awkwarldy at the screen while watching your vid because I just realised how absurdly in love I fell with this car and I never realised it until just a view weeks ago. My dad making my Baby-me laugh because he drove corners so fast my mom needed to hold onto him. I just now start to remember it when I am the one who gets introduced to my dads cornering science while having little car races in traffic practice areas or driving over 160km/h on the Highway or staring traffic light races with people next to me. Its just funny how my mom is worried as much as when my dad used to drive and now hes the one laughing.
You missing the red belts for 5 more extra HP! Great purchase, i have mine since 6 month and it's a pretty little nugget for going around town I don't have sunroof but i have leather seats and mine is black And like you it's a little christmas tree on the odometer !
True, must be an added in the future! Yeah i never had any sort of TC, so now its just driving without. And the temperature sensor is not working buuuut otherwise it runs great! Im trying at least to sort out the temperature problem, but the no TC i can live with. Makes it a bit more exiting haha
As mine, since i've buyed i have the light of the TC.. at the time no temperature problem but a camshaft sensor to replace cause they don't like cold time too apparently.. Next Time i need to check TC but i think it's just a problem behind the steering wheel that i need to check Enjoy yours and have a nice day !
Sorry for my broken english in advance ! I think for mine it has to be with the rotating contactor who is behind the steering wheel They'd messed up things when the last wheels parallelism was done and they didn't do this in the correct order which is : do the parallelism and only after you put correctly the rotating contactor And since the light is coming on the dash only when i turn at maximum when i clear it i think it has to be this or i have to recalibrate the contactor 😂
