I kinda did that, 362bhp ecoboost from a 2016 st180 in to a £400 mk6 st150 shell
All 8l s3’s were ko4 turbo’s.if it’s a ko3 it’s prob golf mk4 20vt lump.brilliant vid love both of them👍🏻
The 9N3 Polo GTI was a Ko3s - Not ko3 but the swap would make sense if it's an 9n3 GTI engine.
@@BigMacAttacification he mentioned the box came out of a Seat.the Leon Cupra not the cupra R was also ko3s and the Ibiza cupra was ko3 so that would make sense also
@@progd4v3 Ahhhh that makes sense - would help if I paid attention to the gearbox bit. I know the 99-01 Ibiza Cupra and 04-08 Polo had essentially the same block, just the Ko3s turbo coming in the later Polo. Must be from an Ibiza Cupra then.
Yes that’s right👍🏻i Had a couple of mk3 Ibiza cupras back in day.a ko3 one and then a Garrett gt2860 one running 350hp.that was a quick little car
@@progd4v3 Ooh running the Garrett must have been right fun down a B road. I had a 9n3 GTI a few years ago running only about 200hp or so - Was a spicy daily but nothing more. Put 80k hard miles on her in 2 years and the Ko3s and engine never skipped a beat. Everything that was plastic or rubber however...

s3 bam egine.. aum inlet injetors on a ko3s
it was a mishmash of parts put together as he didnt use a donor car.. gearbox is an o2s from a 2016 leon
@@jocole7688 Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me which engine can be installed on a vw fox without major alterations? I have 1.2 bmd, you can say it doesn't go at all, I want to be a little more powerful.
Depends how much power you want to go for
@@enzoUKSC about 100-120 hp.
Interestingly, the factory gearbox and drive will withstand such a load. The engine now seems to be at 70 hp.
