Amy, your a wonderful person and I absolutely love you're family. Been watching for years now and I never comment on videos hardly but, your family is salt of the earth kinda folks. I loved this weeks video. The facial expressions. Doug is tough, but then blushes on the Deer birds and bees talk…lol. The little vs. big expensive things…lol. Amy, you are some good on giving three different hints on birthday/Christmas ideas. He was listening. And, I was very surprised at your insecurity comment, I have always loved your hair!

I agree with the idea of buying bullion rather than jewelry which has about a 700% mark-up above the intrinsic value. I stack silver primarily. There's so many different types of bullion. You can buy bars, rounds, sovereign, and what's called junk silver, or constitutional silver, or gold. These types of bullion can be made into jewelry easily by buying a basil to put around the coin then put it on either a silver or gold chain of your choice, and length chains are generally available in a pawn shop for a fraction of the jewelry store price. I bought a 1 Troy ounce Canadian Mapleleaf coin, put it in a basil, and a 20 inch silver chain for my mom last Christmas. She loves it and there's no damage to the coin.
There's things to know about different types of bullion. You will pay the spot price plus a premium above spot. That's the norm, and that's how those businesses are able to be in business. They wouldn't be in business long if they didn't make a small margin above their cost.
My recommendation for an online bullion dealer is SD Bullion. They're a business built on Christian values. If your order is over $200.00, you get free shipping every time. I buy all my bullion from them and have never had a problem.

Love your video and Larson Farms videos. I had to laugh about the bracelet. Only once in 54 years has my husband bought me a piece of jewelry and only because the sales lady flirted with him...ha. It was funny to watch. Once she sold him a $200 chain to hold my mother's antique necklace...she was on to the next sucker...I mean customer. 😬

Jewelry is NOT to expensive!! Amy deserves a new bracelet! When we farmed years ago, there was no GPS, heated cabs etc. etc. AND we did just fine. Now equipment manufacturers put out there that farmers NEED GPS and all the EXPENSIVE extras.... they don't need all those extras, but they buy it! Amy NEEDS a new bracelet (cheaper than new farm equipment!)

Amy you are a beautiful lady. If we all looked like you and Dougo life would be boring. One thing i always told my kids and grandkids is some people just aren't happy and need to talk about others. If their talking about me that's fine because they are leaving everyone else alone and some people don't have enough self-esteem to deal with it.

I don't know if she's the boss or not, I've seen times when Doug has a certain flash in his eyes when he speaks, and you just sense that he means business. For Amy I'd say for sure that she's the heart of the family, and the glue that keeps things together. Probably most important is their willingness to submit to each other and their relationship is centered in Christ.

I truly do not understand why people need to comment about another person's appearance. Thanks for sharing how that particular comment hurt you. Amy, we know that people are not dogs but I use this illustration -- It is a dogs nature to bark, even howl at the moon. Some people are that way its just there nature to be critical, howl. When you are in front of people you cannot pick who is in the audience. Let God's love be the shield that stops the arrows that would wound our heart. :)
Hey Doug, why not dig a little pond in those places where it stays wet and you can't farm it that way it will give the water a place to go and it will dry up a big area so you will be able to farm up to it and plan it to coincide with your runs forward and back through the field just saying it would really help you all move through that whole process be safe god bless
