    I just ordered dimarzio injectors for bridge and neck, Area 61 middle for my strat, I can't wait!

    I was on the fence about which neck pickup to buy to compliment the virtual solo bridge that I have, and I think this convinced me to go with the injector - nice playing!

    I got a Dimarzio injector neck in the neck of my Steinberger gr4. Since the guitar has a carbon fibre neck and a solid maple body, that makes everything bright, I have a Dimarzio area 61 in the mid, and use 250k pots. The sound is incredible good, think smoooth Strat on the neck, with a discrete quack in neck/mid position. (The bridge pickup is the original SD Custom, that sounds surprisingly good with a 250k volume pot).

    Thanks for the demo! Digging that Strat and your playing. Btw may I ask you, what reverb & delay are you using? Heavenly with your tone & playing.

      Hey thanks so much! I am using the Plini plug in from Neural DSP for all my tones here!

    Wow!! Amazing test!! Do you recomend it for keeping the classic strat sound but gettin a little more output for hard rock sound? Thanks!

      I cant recommend these enough! They are so versatile. The clarity is amazing and and the injectors have amazing output for what I like to do. Single coil sound holds true to that Fender sound as well.

    That's some tasty ass playing, my dude! Is it from something or just some improv? I would love to learn it.
    And that scrumptious tone of yours, how do you achieve it?

    • @mattmelodymusic
      @mattmelodymusic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much! Yeah this was just a little bit of improvisation while I switched through the different pick up configurations!

    • @mattmelodymusic
      @mattmelodymusic  ปีที่แล้ว

      The tone is coming just from the Neural DSP Plini plug in!

      A bit of late response, sorry about that.
      That's awesome, great improv skills you've got there! About the plugin; The Plini plugin is fantastic! You wouldn't have any way of sharing that preset you're using in this video?

      If I remember correctly I believe it’s a warmoth white Pearloid pickguard!

    I prefer 500k pots on injector

    Could you share the pot values? 250 or 500?

  • @viperBSG

    sure, have all the effects on so you don't get a real sound of the pickups.

      Apologies, I suppose the title is misleading. This was an upload for myself to see how my newly built parts caster sounded after fully assembled. It isn’t a pickup demo, rather a test drive if you will.

    You have so many layers of effects that you can't actually hear the pickups for what they are. Turn off the delay, reverb, and whatever other hundred effects you are running and let us hear them raw.
