That was very enjoyable not only is the layout impressive so was the running shots with great variety . I really like the countryside section. Cheers Kev
A great update. I like the look of the depot area and the plans. Impressive countryside scenes, Seafoam trees will definitely make a great addition to the scene. Fabulous running session, really like the new camera angles. All the best David
Only just discovered your channel, for some reason TH-cam has been hiding it from me. Looking great. Watched this immediately after watching your November 2021 update video and really like the transformation of the station.
Brilliant update and running session, like what you’re doing with the station area and the countryside area looking great, the drone shot of the Mendip train snaking through looked very impressive, thanks for sharing, cheers Darrell
The new countryside section is looking good....... it's just missing the abattoir that I previously suggested!....How about adding a woolabra wonga too? Nice running session and I appreciate the realistic ballasting around the layout. (I'm not keen on pre-made trees).....( they're not as bad as the trees on Dragon Junction though!) :) Seriously, good work as usual. I always enjoy your running sessions. Cheers, Julian.
Thanks Julian, believe it or not my list of things needed does include some sheep watering troughs, which will be completed with some bright blue pipes (wires) to service them. Just can't seem to find any pre-made ones just yet... Cheers, Dave
Awesome running session! I desperately need a Colas class 70! Couple of questions for you, were did you get the timber wagons from? (they look ace) How did you fit the flashing tail lamp to the Intermodal wagon? (They so flat and small, no where to hide the chip!)
Thanks for your comment. The Colas 70 seems to be such a staple on todays railways, I’m surprised Bachmann have stopped making the class 70. Timber wagons were picked up from an auction site however they haven’t been out for long and believe some of the big retailers still have stock (try Kernow). The flashing lamp on the intermodal was a challenge, I used a train tech kit. Cut the LED wires right back and used brown decoder wire to run flat with the wagon, then under and finally up in to the container where the battery etc is. 👍
wow superb layout...realistic running speeds .Jim

I like the story behind the running. Your curves handle long trains easily. Good stuff!
Thanks very much, I tried to keep all curves about 50cm radius when planning and seems to have helped with very few rolling stock running issues.
Very very impressive, so much detail. Thanks for sharing
Looks fantastic, Train running session looks really good and more interesting times ahead with more scenery to be added, regards, Colin.
fantastic layout look forward to seeing the changes. depot shed hides the entrance to the layout well.

Thanks David, I think the seafoam trees will be the next challenge to tackle 👍
Lovely looking layout..I like the orange 20's..vey nice, cheers, Dave

Thanks Darrell, just a shame the long train has to be split in 2 to fit in the fiddle yard, if only the layout was a little bigger...! haha
Excellent
Very nice running session .

Where is the pantograph mk1 coach from?
It was a kit from an online auction site.
@@GoodfordModelRailway ok thanks
Can you supply a link to the overhead line inspection car kit please ?
It was on a popular auction site although I’m not sure the seller is doing them at the moment.
Is the graffiti hand painted or transfers?
It is transfers, I think those ones were from Railtec 👍
