In NCERT we read about the "good" things Mughals did. Which is a big fat lie.
I don't know why NCERT doesn't teach us about The great Maharana Pratap, who sacrificed his life for independence, and the great Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
I usually discuss the facts I learn from RAAZ with my history teacher and he says that the facts are true but we all are forced to read the lie that Muslim historians wrote.
I hope one day they'll make a change in the textbooks, and let the other generation know the truth.
It's painful when I hear that students know whose son was Akbar and whose father was Babur, but they don't know anything about the real great warriors and kings of the history.

I was expecting some evidence from these 'great historians' and a histroical analysis in the perspective of that time and space. But maybe evidence is not needed for this 'new history'.
Read all of Akbar's atrocities done in a single war in Fatehnama-i-Chittor. This is a text written. By Akbar's own historian Abul Fazl. Plus Bayaduni another historian from Akbar's court also writes about Akbar forcing a nobleman to divorce his wife so Akabr could marry her because she was beautiful. Akbar did end up marrying the beautiful wife of Abdul Wasi. So Akbar didn't spare even married muslim women.

And if u talk about his running, then brother it was needed as he was one of the last hope for all the BHARATIYA, Indian women and children for their safety as all the invaders(afghani eg akbar) were filled with lust of women. Mariam-uz-Zamani's marriage (Jodha bai Ki Shaadi) was the result of a conflict between her father and Akbar's brother-in-law, Sharif-ud-din Mirza, the Hakim of Mewat. It was not Akbar but his bother in law from Mewat who captured the brothers of Jodha bai. Her Father request Akbar to resolve the matter because he is in bigger post in empire than Mirza Hakim.

it is believe that akbar's marriage with Mariam-uz-Zamani (Jodha Bai) was because of divine vision he got at Ajmer Sharif as per Abu'l Fazl.

The princess of amer who is the wife of akbar and mother of salim (Jahangir) has never mentioned her real name in any literary records available till date, because at that time women of such high post never referred by her real name rather refer by her post or to whom she related to. And name Jodha Bai is given a English Fool because he thought she is related to royal family of jodhpur.

Akbar and other mughal rulers were not great because they were too discriminating and brutal towards every non muslims and did deeds which can be called Sins. Conquering the lands and fighting battles was a part of any Rulers reign but what Mughals did was far from what we would or should call good deeds or greatness. Mughals killed non muslims, raped womens, killed childrens, their brutality was worse than any sins committed ever. They did not respect others religions and tried to discard it but when they couldn't they destroyed mandirs, burnt ancient scriptures, and library as we saw with Nalanda University. It is insane how people justify those brutality done by Mughals by saying it was a part of ruling a kingdom. it could be said that AKBAR WAS DEFINITELY A SUCCESSFUL RULER BUT TO SAY THAT HE WAS GREAT THAT'S A COMPLETE BULLSHIT. People who called him great were his own people who believed his ideologies and found pleasure in other misery.

Mahabharata 14.7: "The Brahmanas and Kshatriyas, and Vaisyas, and wealthy Sudras, set out, keeping before them the 16,000 women that had formed Vasudeva’s harem, and Vajra, the grandson of the intelligent Krishna."
What about white-washing Rama's father Dasharath, who also had many concubines? Here, in the passage where Dashrath organized the carnist, violent horse killing, Ashvamedha Yajna, Valmiki's Ramayan states in the Bala Kanda 1.14.35: "Thus, the officiating priests of the ritual, namely hota, adhwaryu and udgaata have received in their hand the Crowned Queen, the neglected wife, and a concubine of the king, next as a symbolic donation in the ritual by the performer, the king."
Hindu scriptures normalize sex slavery by Hindu kings. Natya Shastra 34.26-29: "I shall now describe the classes and function of women who live in the harem and have dealings with the king. They are the chief queen (maha-devi), other queens (devi), his high born wives (sramini), ordinary wives (sthayini), concubines (bhogini) craft women (silpakarini), acresses (natakiya), dancers (nartaki), maids in constant attenance (ancarika), maids of special work (paricarka), maids in constant movement (sancarika), maids for running errands (presana-carika), Mahattaris (matron), old dames (sthavira). Ayuktikas and (overseer), Pratiharis (usher), maidens (kumari)." Natya Shastra 34.40: "Concubines (bhogini) to a king are known as well-behaved, gentle [in manners], not very hanghty, and they are indifferent [to rivals], modest, affectionate but not held in high honor." Similarly, the Narada Purana mentions in 35.43: "A son born of a virgin girl is called ‘Kanina’, and that born of pregnant before marriage is called ‘Sahodhaka’. One purchased by price is called ‘Krita’, ‘Punarbhava’ is two-fold." Manu also wrote on sex slaves ... Manu Smriti 8.415: "A captive of war, a slave for maintenance, the son of a female slave, one purchased for money, a slave obtained as a present, a hereditary one, and one condemned to slavery for any offence, these are the seven kinds of slave."

It gives insight into the horrible mentality of the Mughals and Akbar's intolerance for Hindus. I'm not sure why people call Akbar great? He was a horrible human.

Sati pratha that sanatani used to do with the widow wife because after the husband died due to any reason the wife became unprotected and during mughal emperor mughals were the predators for the women who doesn't jave husbands. Sati pratha was existing long before Sultani and Mughal period. The widow women mostly misused by the male members of their own family. Besides, to have the possession over their husband ' s property it was introduced. During ancient period it was not there. Even no Hindu scripture does encourage the sati pratha.

See the thing is, he’s a king….so he was definitely powerful for the matter then even till 21st century, people label him as ‘Akbar the Great’. The thing you said that secularism was his tactics to get a good image, that’s true and it worked for him. That’s why people praise him even till date. That means, he’s definitely a great leader in terms of the fact that he could control the thoughts of his subject and manage such a huge kingdom all by himself.
That being said, I obviously know that he was a cruel leader, that he have killed millions of Hindus and other innocent people. But then, no one said he was a good person at heart, people only said he was a good leader. What I believe that means is, He could have a powerful impact on his kingdom, that’s why he was a good leader. But it never meant that he was a good person, he definitely wasn’t! Also I think, whenever one becomes a king, you have to fight a battle to win the land, so obviously any king will have to kill innocent people to win the land. Not ignoring the fact that he blatantly killed many women and children, who could have been spared.
Also the thing about marriage to Jodha, if you watch the serial, it was very clearly shown that Akbar had trapped her brothers, it was never said that their marriage was a love marriage. Also it was shown that he destroyed Mandirs and other Hindu places. So I think, that serial showed apt info about Akbar. And my belief about him was, “A great leader , with immense power, who only knew how to expand his kingdom and have a control on his subjects, but didn’t really Care about the people emotionally”

Cite any historical source where it's mentioned Akbar had 500 wives. I bet you would'nt even be able to . Jahangirnama confirmed his legal wives to be below 15 and concubines to be below 40 in number. In the works of Tavernier and Jesuit missionaries contemporary of Mughal period , the harem could house upto 300 people. So keeping 500 wives in a harem ( check size of one in Fatehpur Sikri, for example ) is nowhere near possible, because you also have to house attendants of the king's wives, servants, cooks, tahwildar , record keeper etc. in the same harem in which the wives would be living.
Akbar was the first Mughal king to transform the harem into an institution through addition of various posts and departments within its walls. You need to clear your head off if you think his harem was the same as those during the rule of Babur and Humayun- disorganised mess.
Negatives of Akbar- Chittor bloodbath and fatnama( the Chittor people were not his subjects***😏), exhumation of the body of a Shia who was buried near a Sunni( both events in his early years), imperialistic mindset.
Positives of Akbar- Able and efficient administrator, worthy and clever tactician, did some good politics as opposed to dramatic dirty politics, secular and a responsible king to his subjects.
