Skule does not mean school (in Swedish school is "skola"). Skule is the name of a mountain close to Örnsköldsvik, where Fjällräven was founded. (I'm a swede who lives in Örnsköldsvik).
Nice review, thanks. For me, this is the best TH-cam channel on this topic. You don't just focus on the external differences visible to everyone, but you show the differences in the size of the main compartment. I had the opportunity to compare these backpacks. The volume of the Raven is distributed over more pockets and an external laptop compartment. The Skule has a larger main compartment, which is deeper at the bottom and the lunchbox fits on the bottom in a horizontal position. I bought the Skule
Thanks for the compliment! The Skule's more wide open main compartment was worth pointing out, especially for those who carry bulkier items and need the space.
You videos are amazing! So detailed and the side by sides are awesome. It would be great if you did a comparison between the raven 20 and the skule 20.
Hard to choose as theres no 1 clear winner. Both have similarity, also have their own additional features for different configuration and functions. To me as urban bag, raven is more suitable to my daily activities. Thanks for making this video.
It really depends on your frame. I own the Raven 20 and think it's a great fit for me as a 5'2 woman. The 28L would drown me in either bag. My husband is 6'2 and the Raven 20 doesn't look too small on him, but his preference would be the 28. A man with a smaller frame or a woman with a larger frame might choose opposite.
Hey! We do have a Raven 20L vs 28L comparison video (th-cam.com/video/47eIaH29E1k/w-d-xo.html) if you want to compare how it looks when worn. The 20L is going to be best for shorter people but the 28L Raven isn't huge either. For a 28L backpack, the Raven is still on the smaller side. The 28L Skule is the larger between the two.
They are both great bags. The Raven has more internal pockets for organization and uses a heavy duty fabric that wears very well over time, it feels like a high quality bag to the touch. But the Osprey Nebula is more lightweight, better back panel/shoulder strap breathability and has a bit more open packing room. It really depends on what you prioritize!

Thank you! This makes more sense haha. Pinned this comment so everyone can see it.
Does the marketing team know every one in the world was assuming "school"? :)
Nice review, thanks.

Nice, the product side x side comparisons are my favorite.

Thanks! The 20L comparison is a good idea
I bought the Skule. It’s lighter, cheaper and more versatile. I like the Raven too though.

Very cool comparison! So many details, very thoughtful. Helps a lot with choosing :) Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Good review like always👍 I feel like 20L is small and 28L is big. Is 28L good for both men and women? Thanks.

Thank you, great video! Is Raven 28 color Navy?
Yes, its Navy!
Can you do a review on Osprey Comet? Or do multiple reviews or side by side comparison reviews on all the Osprey 24/7 series backpacks?
Great idea! Right now we have an Osprey Nebula vs Quasar video up but we should do more!
@@Backpackies thanks for taking the suggestion and I watched the video, it was great!
The Raven looks like it would be a better fit for storing under an airline seat!
So the one designed for hybrid outdoor stuff is less water resistant. That .. seems like poor design.
That’s weird 😮 in Brazil the Skule 28 is more expensive that the Raven .
Very helpful, thx!
Thanks for this great video
Why is there no comparison of maxpedition vs vanquest ?
Nice review, very helpful. Thanks. Recommended Fjallraven Raven 28 L or Osprey Nebula 32 L?

i will buy both hahaha both one for work one for travel
Hi, could you help me? Which do you consider better, Fjallraven Skule or North Face Borealis?
