    Fjälllrävens' backpacks might be to pricy for some people but to me, the durabilty of their products are worth it. My overall favorite is my 28L Kaipak for hiking and my 30l Ulvö for work. In total I own a number of their bags in different sizes, love every one of them for different purposes.

    I upgraded from the Kanken to a Kanken Outlong as my work bag and travel personal item earlier this year, mainly due to the connected side pockets since the separate bottle pockets you can buy for the standard kanken weren't secure enough for me (they can slip out/off). I just wish the Outlong had the separate laptop compartment/access point of the Kanken laptop version and then it'd be absolutely perfect for my needs.

      I put velcro strips in my pockets and they are secure AF. I'd love to by the outlong though, but as stated the lack of a laptop puuch at the back is a deal breakler so I'll stick to my trusty kanken

    I have the Haulpack number 1 and l really like it. It's big without being heavy, has two front pockets that fit a lot of stuff and two lateral pockets for water bottles. Inside you have a laptop sleeve, the main compartment that fits a lot, but a lot of stuffs, and a smal pockedt with zipper were l put important things. And is a beautiful and stylish backpack.

    Kanken is overpriced and has (by default) NO padding on the shoulderstraps. There are way better options on the market like TNF, Eastpak or Wenger.

      Agreed. They're overpriced. The only use for them is one big cavernous storage. I get mine second hand off a marketplace.
      I got the 17 inch laptop bag for $50 when it's priced for over $100 new.

    I have a Fjallraven Ulvo Rolltop 23 [Discontinued but completely waterproof) and a Kanken 17 Laptop Backpack. The Kanken 17 laptop backpack rocks. I can fit a 48 oz Nalgene in the side pocket.

    The only Fjallraven backpack I like is the Vardag 16L cause it's just so light and straightforward, but I still only bought it on discount.

    The Outlong looks incredible BUT madness that they don't have a laptop version.

    I use the classic Kanken as a handbag alternative. Don’t use for heavier loads just everyday handbag things plus my waterbottle.

    I have a Raven 20L and love it. If I were to buy again though, I’d have probably gone for the 28L or the Kanken Laptop bag because this one fills up pretty quickly.

      Absolutely my favorite. The first backpack I bought in my collection (after returning the Kanken). And it’s about the best value for your money backpack you can buy, IMO.

    I have the Ulvo backpack and I have stopped carrying it due to uncomfortable straps. It felt like rubbing with sandpaper when putting the backpack on and off.

    I've been a fan of fjallraven pants but never really got into their bags, it just seems like not their strong suit although the Greenland has always tempted me

    The Raven 28 would have been perfect for me, I love the rugged feel of the material and heritage looks. But the straps are attached too close together up to and it pinches my shoulders near the neck. It’s very uncomfortable when loaded up. And the stiff material makes the rain hoods over the zippers catch when unzipping. Excellent otherwise though, my more narrow wife uses it happily
    I wish the material from the kanken was used on more stuff, I love how crinkly it is haha

    I have been using the Raven 20 for a year now and have been very impressed with the bag's overall design and functionality. However, I have experienced some discomfort with the shoulder straps, despite their adequate padding. The stitching on the shoulder straps is causing pressure points and irritation on my shoulders, making it uncomfortable to carry the bag for extended periods.

    My friend saw me carrying a luxrul and joked that I was rich. I told her that was not true, I just bought the bag I liked for very little money.

    I like this brand, but their backpacks are either too big or too small for me. If they had like 24L, 25L it'd be much better.

    The water bottle pockets on most of their bags are seemingly only for decoration because there's no water bottle that fits in them. I like their Greenland stuff but that's about it unfortunately. The fabric is nice though.

    • @merikzhang9389
      @merikzhang9389 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The reason why the water bottle pockets are small, particularly on the kanken, are because they were made for elementary students in Sweden, the handles on the top were built for a rain jacket and the “water bottle pockets” are for a small umbrella.

    • @RichMulholland
      @RichMulholland 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nah, I use the kanken for years and put a pretty big (750ml) water bottle in with no probs. I did by the cup pocket for the other side though as two is a squeeze.

    Why would someone who has been buying from the brand for years or even decades suddenly have to pay 50-60% more for the exact same item? Inflation cannot justify this. It's like the brand is deceiving the consumer. On luxrul , the bags sold are priced lower but of higher quality, so you might as well go there.
