- In this programme, a short report is shown about Kim Wilde. She lipsynchs a few lines of an early version of 'Is it over' in Select Sound Studios, after which Marty is interviewed about Kim. Is it over sounds so much different from the actual album version that we know and love. Hopefully it gets released at some point.

The woman with the red glasses got it so wrong the synthesiser revolutionised music and defined the eighties i know because I experienced it there was a massive change from seventies music to the eighties scene it modernised music made it sound fresh and new gave it a real wow factor

Silly! The interviewer is Anne Diamond, who was lovely. When said family business, it's because that's what they had. No denigration there. The other woman is Sue Pollard - a famous 80's comic who stared in Hi -De- Hi. She's only fooling around and Anne was being light-hearted. You clearly know nothing about these people or the 80's.

I'm going for 1983. Recently saw Marty Wilde's This is your life which was broadcast in Dec 1982 and Ricky has a similar hair do and colour albeit a bit more grown out and Kim's style too. They could've been recording certain tracks for T&D quite bit before it's release.
Looks like 1983 to me, probably August when Love Blonde was released.
Logically this is 1984.The track 'Is it over" featured in the beginning is from her 'Teases and Dares" album released Nov.'84."Love blonde" was 1983 from her 'Catch as catch can" album btw.

Yes Ricky handled hair loss well at a young age, but yeah Kim more likely inherited her Mum's hair. Awesome hairline & really like all her styles throughout the years
