I’m guessing you are in Manitoba. I’ve talked to several instructors and many women are taking the course and you may find yourself outnumbered by the fairer sex. Yay, more women in the hobby!
i spent an extended summer in canada before covid, my friend had one of these and i used it alot. for the price this is a great deal. only issue i had (rare) sometimes the mag needed a strong hand to make it seat properly. accuracy was about 80% of an actual sig, close enough for me. cant remember it jamming even once and i went through a couple of thousand rounds..nice sidearm
nice vid have you thought of getting a P762? if so would be nice to see it on your show, also a detail strip of it. I am unable to get the firing pin out for a propper cleaning. main difference to the NP22 is the grip is larger to beable to handle the 7.62x25 rounds. Glenn
I know this is old now, but i thought i'd ask anyway - in the article you mention the slides for np22 and Sig 226 are not interchangeable, I just watched another review where the poster had put a pro-cut Sig slide on his without issues - what slide did you try? Fingers crossed because i ordered the pro cut before seeing your review =)
I know a slide from a NP22 and NP 58 are interchangeable. The bottom ends were made heavier to 40cal specs on both of these guns. So changing a slide makes no difference.
The Quality control can sometimes be a small issue too, my NP22 doesn't quite fit the mecgar mags, You have to really slam them in there to get them to catch, so hard that I inertia charged the gun a few times, but really if you file down the mag catch like 1/1000th of an inch, they work perfect so very easy fix. Some NP22's they will work straight away
I have a NP22, and I bought a Holster for a Sig 226. The NP22 doesn’t quite stay locked in the holster due to the slight design difference. Any suggestions for a NP22 specific holster??
Would someone consider NP22 over glock? 😆 I like SIG design more, but gen3 glocks are not that much more expensive than norincos here and they are known to work for hundreds of thousands rounds.
hey brother, i got the same problem, broken firing pin, do you know where i can find parts? or does real 226 model firing pin fit ? i would appreciate it if you can provide some useful info. many thinks
Plz reply me I'm Pakistan .l purchase the weapon norinco 9mm plz help me reliable more durable life time how is best model pistal .NP22. NP34 .NP42 Wath is your choice . Chinese law forces how is today 9mm weapon model in use? Plz reply me I'm purchase the 9mm norinco pistal.
I was on the fence about acquiring this pistol but after seeing the magazine issue, that very much sealed my decision. This pistol is a resounding NO for me. I can't throw my hard earned dollars on something that is not reliable
So you are saying because of a single magazine issue, it's a resounding "No" for you. Based on the price of this gun, you could buy a few aftermarket magazines and still not have much invested for a gun that never fails. "Throw your money away", I think you should pick up a P226 instead, they are only $2000, enjoy. These guns are made to exact Sig specifications. They are easily upgraded. I have a NP 22 and a NP 58 never once had a magazine issue. Never once a single failure even during breakin period. Not to mention 9mm and 40cal mags are interchangeable. I'm starting to understand most people that comment online about guns, have never actually shot a gun. Unless video games count and they don't
I like the memes in the videos! Thanks again for the great reviews!
An NP34 was my first handgun
It was reliable and I shot it for about 4 years until I got sick of the heavy double action trigger pull
Was it good for single action trigger?
How was the accuracy?
@@khattak119 the single action was very good. Light smooth and short.
I'm hoping to get my RPAL once Covid restrictions are reduced. I was eyeing the NP22 as a cheap first pistol. This was really helpful.
Or consider Girsan for inexpensive handguns that actually have decent quality.

E2 is the best ergonomically of any Sig grip, some Norinco are really good.
Yep, you can put some high end parts in this gun have an amazing piece. Still not be into it for $1000

Thanks. Great review
Nice review on these two.
The finish on those looks...rough. but for 3 bills, its probably fine.
As always, Great review!!!!!!!

Norinco 1911 a1????? next video idea???
Is the grip also made of steel? Thanks
Looks like a solid beater, wish you could get them in US. Nice video
You can’t them in the us? Damn it!!!!!
@@trey.cpopplewell5640 nothing Chinese or Russian, in Canada they are fair game
Do you know if the mec-gar magazines for the 229 work with the np34? Can’t find norinco or mecgar anywhere in Canada right now for the 228 or np34
Oh, I'm not sure. Bullseye has some 229 mags, but they also have a fitment note that they don't work on older ones.
@@Huntinggearguy thanks for the quick reply! I think I probably should just wait for the mecgar for 228 to come back in stock. Thanks!
Good video!
I need recoil spring of Np-34 9mm.
Can you help me
Does SIG SHORT RESET TRIGGER PARTS KIT - P226 works on NP22?
It didn't work on my np34
There's an SRT in this NP22 (bought it that way). I could try putting it in the NP34.
@@Huntinggearguy thank you, do you mean this SRT is an original part from Norinco come with NP22?
@@PeterYoung777 It didn't work on my np22 either. hammer drop safe blocks the hammer hits fire pin with sig SRT part.
My kept going into double action mode
Living in the USA where can i buy the NP222?
Used market only. Norinco's haven't been imported to the US for a couple decades.

Thank You
দাম কত? বাড়ি তে নিয়ে আসা যাবে?
which has the short trigger pull and reset among these two ?
The NP22 had one installed if that helps.
Dude! How did you find these iv been trying forever and nothing it’s like a myth but obviously it’s not lol I need one so freaking bad!!!
They were fairly easy to find in Canada up until the gov prohibited handguns
Ten or twenty bucks cheaper at Tenda, sweet deal.

For the same price, I'd rather have a Glock.
My buddy had NP34, and its problem is the firing pin. It easily broke. When he do the rapid fire, that's the time it broke.

Zastava 99 is far better
Hmmmm these handguns are more than a decade old and review at this time is a little out of time.
You can still buy these retail. I got the NP34 new.
