    Looks and sounds like a fine product. The only reservation I would have is the wooden base and its durability as I take the pad in and out of various teaching venues. I have the Ram Pad and it looks and sounds similar to this pad but with a polymer base that is replaceable should it become necessary. I do like the fact that your pad is available in the 13 inch size and that you can use a real kevlar head. Keep on drumming!

      Thank you for the compliments! We do varnish all our wooden baseplates to extend the durability, so taking your pad in and out of various teaching venues would be no problem :-)

    I've just got the Drum Corps Pad right around 2 months ago, and it was magnificent
    Only issue I had is that the material inside the pad is a tad bid too soft compared to a kevlar head on high tension.
    I pretty much had the material provided inside the pad with something harder and it works amazingly astounding.
    What's the material that you have inside the Drum Corps pad? And just in case if you ever have any ideas of making a new product for those who are in drumline, could there be any stiffer materials for the pad?
    Love from Japan! (Side note, I know that this is published 2 years ago, so I don't really expect any replies)

      Let me know how it goes. I thought the same dark matter material would be a good fit under one of these. Might give it a realistic high tension rebound since the v3 invader pads are pretty close. Either way let us know what you do. Im thinking out making my own pad as well in similar fashion to these rd/ drumslinger pads

      We make our products on demand. That means a production time of about 4-6 weeks. Shipping to the United States takes 1-2 weeks. Shipping within Europe will take less. We communicate frequently about the order and we try to be as transparant as possible. - An Evans Hybrid Grey or an Evans Hybrid Black would be the best option for your drum corps pad to mimic the feel of a Remo Suede Max!

    How much rebound does the Black Chop pad have compared to a real drum? Also, do you know how long it would take to ship to the East Coast of the US?

    • @RudimentalDrummers
      @RudimentalDrummers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Thanks for your question. It depends on what kind of drum you compare it to. The chop pad is very similar to a mylar head marching drum (95%) When you compare it to a high tension drum it's about 80-85% the rebound. The drum corps pad is similar to a high tension drum.
      We produce chop pads in 2 to 4 weeks, depending on current stock. Shipping to East Coast is about 10-14 days.
