I have the 6 inch one, and just ordered a new 12 inch one today. They are great, but my absolute favorite remains the "Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Stockpad". Now that feels exactly like my snare.
I like that white on white PDP set. I had one just like that except with 24" bass drum. Had it for several years and now back to Ludwig. The PDP was a good set especially for the price. As far as a practice pad I prefer the Silent Stroke by Remo. The feel and response is closer to an actual batter head than any pad.
So this pad plays a special place in my heart I got this pad and a good old pair of 5a Vic firths and played on this pad fast forward 7years and is still the best pad and still my main pad my friend offered me a 90$ pad yesterday and I said no I love this pad
A tip.....If you place an old 13'' drum head under the Real feel pad,on the stand first,It will raise the pad up a bit so you don't hit the snare drum stand brackets.
I watched up to 4:36, about a third of the video’s length, but the presenter has mainly shown the front and back of the pad over and over again, but the real unpacking and testing of the drum pad have not yet been presented. What a frustrating presenter of a product? So I quit watching and moved on to another helpful video that I could find on this product.

What are your thoughts on turtle pads? I am always on the go so it seemed like a cool way to practice anywhere. I had never heard of them and I saw an ad on IG but they seem like a newer company. Can you do a review on them so I know whether or not to ask for one for xmas?

Extremely quiet? Are you kidding me? This thing is LOUD! Compared to carpet drumming anyway. There is no way you can practice this at night. If you live in a detached house, then maybe.
dude are you joking..? have you used it? if you are playing with this and you're in a room with the door closed, the people in the next room over can probably hear you to some extent. But it's not loud enough for someone a couple rooms over to hear you or someone on a different level of the house. You must be smacking the crap out of it.

My first pad was a 6” realfeel and I still have it, the paint is chipping but still works great.
