    Wow, she's quiet!
    But still, yer grounded!
You were specifically instructed to get heat shrink.
Plus you should add some in line fuse holders too!
But anyway, I was told that the "adapter" or "control module" (dunno never got one) was very expensive to use either a 2 or 3 plug plow.
    Cost prohibitive was the term.
And dude, get yourself into modern times.... spit loom is so 1990's. You gotta use the Chinese Finger Cuff stuff!
    Expandable Braided Cable Sleeve 👌
Glad you got it done, looks much warmer by you.
    16 feels like 5 here

All the connections have heat shrink. Okay I will have a fuse tap that will hold a fuse to go into the fuse box. Not sure what controller module you are talking about. If you are talking about the isolation box, this does not use one. On my ultramount I bypassed it so it no longer uses one either.

Honestly I have no clue what it is?
I checked with my dealer, hey I have 2 and 3 plug plows can I wire the truck to use either or both?
      No, crazy expensive.
I don't know if it's labor or parts, I trust him, he's been good to me for 20 years, and he would have gotten the money, so.....
That just means I can't use the wrong plow 🤔

@Mike The Mow Man I just bought a used western pro plow. The wiring harness is completely shredded. I would like to talk to you about getting a new one.

      @Caleb Smith
I'm not sure if Migel is necessarily "the guy" for schematic style questions?
But if you are planning to try and salvage a "shredded" harness, I'd most definitely recommend that you use a reputable source for quality wire, at a minimum of 10AWG automotive or marine wire, as well as heat shrink and connectors.
There are many uses for the cheap crap Amazon products, but 3AM, 25 miles from home in 12⁰F, with an inch an hour coming down till noon is NOT the time to find out the value wire is copper clad aluminum and the inadequate crimp connections left the chat.....!
Harbor Freight has a wonderful wire stripper by Quinn for $18 sku# 57785, a fine 9½" crimper from Pittsburgh for $8 sku# 36411 that's a copy of a similar Channel Lock pair I routinely use. Or a Doyle Ratcheting Crimp tool that is comparable to a set I've got too, which are typically more consistent with the pressure and easier for the heavier gauge wires for $20 sku# 58325
Crimp fittings with die electric grease is preferred for the corrosion laden installation, in addition to the pliable wire with a thicker insulation.
Some abrasion protection, better than split loom is readily available, like 1/4 inch & 1/2 inch PET Expandable Braided Cable Sleeve - Wire Sleeving for Automotive Wire which is $10 for 50', and wonderful to work with, either for long home runs or random intersections.
But again, quality wire and connections are unarguably where it's at!
Westerns site has a ton of schematics available for download, along with troubleshooting guides, that are undoubtedly worthy of printing and having laminated for repetitive use.
      Good Luck!
Sup Mikey, stay smart, and I'm glad to have been a part of your brine usage.

Do you have to run a specific ground from the solenoid to the truck as well a second ground to the ground side of the battery?

Hi Mike... How do I contact you? I was wondering if you'd be able to build the same 9 pin wiring harness you made for the Western unimount

Mike. Can you post a exact hand written diagram showing exactly what you did here. I have tried going off your video. But I have come up empty.

About to do this on my Ram 1500 . Do l just pick up 03 and earlier western solenoid plow harness and make some changes to it?
I have a 2 plug 9 pin set up on the plow also wanna use regular 6pin controller rather than that old school joystick 🕹... Basically set up like yours.
Part # of that controller would be appreciated. Thank you
