nice of you sending Jason the safety good going
He's a great guy!
Hey Dave,
You are getting good at honestly reviewing those machines.
And the Bestarc company is getting good at producing machines that DIY people can really appreciate.
I really like this one! So many cool functions.
Good Job!
Thank you!
Honestly great vid!! Just got the same model today! Wondering about consumables there’s a kit but sure if they fit the XP version……
I think the standard AG60P consumables fit this. That's just from memory though.
De Mesh Mode… huge back in the day
You win 74 interwebz! Lol
Another great vid Dave!!!
@@clintlegeyt4835 thanks!
Unbox it dave I can't afford it no matter how cheap it is.I'm disabled I'm so broke.I can afford to pay attention
@@dondavis6997 it's a bit more money than the standard 500 series.
Nice !
@@barrymurray8264 thank you!
Nice!!
@@faroironandcustoms6577 thank you!
just curious, what software do you use with the CrossFire CNC Plasma Table? Does it come with it? I like the fact that my BESTARC BTC500XP 11th Gen would work with it :-)
Comes with Fire Control to run the table. I use Fusion 360 for Cam/Cad
@@madgingercustoms thx
G'day Mr Ginger!! Hope your all well!!
Hey Brooksy! I need to watch your humpty Dumpty video today!!
@@madgingercustoms hahaha ok man!!
Hello. Is the voltage divider 1 to 1 ration(as bestarc states) compatible with Langmuir z axis controls? Did you have to do anything special to get it to work? Just ordered this cutter but considering table options and not sure whether to try and build or to buy. Want a small 2x3 ish table. Thx👍🏻
I don't have THC on my table. I only have IHS. It works great. I'm not sure how it works with THC.
@@madgingercustoms thank you for your quick response! I’m just trying to decide on a table whether to DIY or to buy and which route to go. Cheers!
Will running 110 on a 15 amp breaker trip?
Not if you have it under 30ish amps I suppose.
I've been eyeing these for awhile but nobody has done a comparison that I've found between what the different model numbers mean or which features are "CNC"-specific. Like, if you but a XP, what's the difference between that and the DP that's less than half the price? Is there some reason you need one or the other in different situations? I'd love to see a rundown like that. It's probably been the single biggest barrier to entry for one of these machines for me: every time I go to buy one I'm not actually sure if I'm getting the right model.
DP model isn't CNC but is pilot arc.
Also you don't want anything HF start because it interferes with plasma table electronics.
@@madgingercustoms Thanks for the response! I think what's not clear to me is that "CNC" or "not CNC" doesn't really break down the detailed differences in the designs, features or demonstrate the reasons you would care about one model or another. Could you expound on that a little bit? (might make for a pretty good, detail video)
@@sammccollum2985 the CNC ready versions have arc voltage and signal connectors. That is huge for guys that have plasma tables. If you don't, it's not worth paying more for. The mesh function is inventive though so if you do a bunch of expanded metal it's worth the money.
