Thank you for the Correct Link for the Consumables.. In Amazon, the Plasma Cutter shows the wrong kit under "bestarc products customers bought together"
@@kveldgorkon4611 It has been a while since I did it, but I know that first cut was done at the settings shown in the chart at 6:30. It's in between 5 and 8mm so I probably split the difference and set it at 25A and 35 PSI to start. After that first cut I realized the pressure drops when pulling the trigger, so it was probably only 25 to 30 PSI, definitely too low.
@@kveldgorkon4611 Sorry, you also asked me about my final settings. I ended up having the best results at 45A and 50 PSI. I found that all my settings needed to be bumped up by 10 to 20 amps compared to the recommended settings on the chart for good results. Air pressure was closer but still needed a bit more, and I rapidly hit the ceiling of 50 PSI on the machine for most things. I hope this helps!
@@MarkATrombley I can see that. Are you going to be able to get consumables in 5 years? 10 years? I haven't dug too deep into whether there are other consumables that fit it but I'll check into it.
enjoyed your review of plasma cutter
@@tomauth3419 hey Tom! How's retirement treating you?
Terrific video. Thanks for sharing!
Appreciate the review 👍
Solid review, and it seems live a very capable machine. Even more so when the cost is factored in. Keep the videos coming.
Great to see you’re doing well. The chicken came out great. 👍 🐔 👍

Interesting, thanks!
Solid review. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see a side by side cutting comparison of this machine against a Hypertherm 30XP or 45XP.
nice work, is the torch connector a standard of some sort? "Euro Central maybe"
@@randypankau1991 I'm not sure. I'll have to do a bit of research on that one.
What was the Material Thickness? .. Also What was the Recommended setting (Air, Amps, Speed) and what was your final setting?
@@kveldgorkon4611 can you be more specific as to which part of the video? I cut a wide variety of materials throughout.

@@StuartdeHaro Thank you .. I'm glad you did this Video, Gives me more Confidence with my BTC500XP and Now i know the best settings ahead of time
The fact that it takes manufacturer and model specific consumables concerns me.

Good point, Mark. I suppose you could modify the torch to suit, or replace it.
