All of arks survival stories on each map are connected so for the full context u gotta read or watch em all which is why there’s some gaps in helenas story

@Definitely Not Definitive - Games Neddy has done complete survivor stories for the island and the scorched Earth maps. All notes from both maps told in chronological order.
This is great. I'm quite happy you decided to do this. Neddy hires professional voice actors for the narration and it really shows. He has so far done the notes from 4 main survivors from the Island (Helena, Rockwell, Gaeus, and Mei) as well as the 4 survivors from the Scorched Earth map (Helena and Rockwell as well as 2 newcomers). He is soon getting ready to start releasing his Aberration survivors. Looking forward to your continuation of this series.

These note are from ingame and are called "explorer notes" and you can find them around the maps in boxes and other thing. There is hundreds and hopefully there will be more of the videos to react to about the explorer notes because they are quite interesting

During this extremely tough time of my life, I was fortunate enough to find shelter with a great friend and his family.
This allows me the opportunity to renew my Ark addiction. It's all we do. He hadn't played in many years, but.....I reminded him of the way.
Never seen this. Watching it, I got light tears from hype. This game is beyond massive and epic.

So in real life, Tyrannosaurus Rex lived in Canada and during the late cretaceous period in which T-Rex lived, Canada was pretty much just as cold in the winter as it is now. So the T-Rex would have been no stranger to snow.

The journals tape and auch is from the game itself the journals are how the game tells u story you find many journals i the game they were nirating the ingame journals from the first map

good react, this will give you a taste of what the storys of diferents survivors trough the arks will be, also i will had that these survivors all come from diferent periods of human history, like Helena walker, she is an australian from 21 century, while "The beast Queen" she is a chinese acient warrior, for example

They will be having all the explorer notes for rockwell (David Tennant) and Helena (Madeleine Madden) officially voice acted, as well as an official intro scene which will both be added later this year.
I’d also recommend watching the animated series trailer after watching the other three videos like this one if you haven’t seen it as it takes place on the island only so far as we know.
We do need to check out the trailers for animated series 😅

I hope you both will enjoy the ark show when it releases, it has a few big names in it too, vin diesel, david tennant, russel crowe, gerad butler etc
as others have said, there would be a bit of overlap obviously, but i highly recommend watching the "complete" videos, as its all of the logs for 1 map in chronological order, watching them one character at a time will work still so if you have to watch like this thats fine, but the complete versions are how Neddy is going forward i believe, judging by the trailer for the new one. but i hope you enjoy this story as much as i did, this story is genuinely one of my favourites, i went into ark expecting a fun dino game, and came out with one of my favourite scifi stories. i hope you continue to watch and enjoy ark's story as much as i did.
also Mei Yin is easily my favourite character, i cant wait till you get to see her notes

As I recall, Helena's story is only 1/3 of the base game's story: Aside from Mei Yen, there should be notes from Nerva too. These two fill in the gaps left in Helena's notes. Also, some of the stories (like Helena's) continue in the game's expansions. I don't know if Neddy the Noodle has done them or not, but all together, the story of the game and its expansions is a pretty interesting ride.

Neddy has done all the island, both notes and dossiers, all of scorched earth, and is now working on aberration. Sadly it seems extinction and beyond will not happen, at least in the Ark engine.

OMG -_- I had no idea this was the story from the journals. In the game you collect those for just a boost of XP, alot of people don't take the time to read the little texts on them. I had no idea all of them on order told a fantastic story about the game I have played SOO much. I always thought I knew the game, but now I definitely know it and love the story. And what better people to discover this with than you two ☺️💖🤗
so you are also in for a quite a story! this is only one of over 15 journals through 6 story maps with over 400 notes worth of story...which can get funky at some parts as there is still some unanswered question

Even through my extreme love hate relationship with the game I’ll say the lore in is is pretty interesting and intense at times. The animated Ark show is coming at some point soon as well which I’m happy for

Neddythenoodle has a full version with all the notes in chronological order its must better as it doesnt spoil the ending for all characters and is just a better way to get the story. You might as well just watch the individuals like you are now for the island and the for scorched earth use the chronological one. The third map isnt out yet.
Watching the 4 survivor stories then that specific maps ascension cutscen is the way to go following the story. The ascensions are your playable character completing the map.
The stories youre seeing in the notes/videos here are what out characters find left behind so it happened a bit in the past and we are following them through the maps. So when we ascend on the island map here we do the same boss fight in that mysterious space station that nervas men were all dead at, at the end there. Then we ascend to wherever they were sent to and are able to find the next set of notes from all the characters and see what happened at the next place, then we ascend that map.
Just a general idea to give context (: the stories really good and theres also a anime for ark coming! You can check out the ark survival evolved the animated series extended trailer if you want 😁 the cast list is crazy.

So, if you find Neddy's "Complete" stories for The Island and Scorched Earth, they'll have each of the notes from each of the characters in Chronological order, so it will make a lot more sense moving through them
HIGHLY Recommend those ones, the Scorched Earth one is actually rather emotional. Eat your heart out Hollywood, you finally have the start of competition XD

ARK is one of those games that take your life. It's good you guys are just watching these videos instead. I'll give you an example of what I mean by taking your life. On offcial game servers it takes something like 8 REAL life hours to 'tame' a long neck dinosaur. (It might be more or less, the last time I played this game was years ago.) A lot of the dinosaurs and giant animals take hours upon hours of real life hours. And yes, there are private servers you can boot up and lessen those hours.
Oh damn that is indeed a lot of time just for one taming of an animal 😯
I would suggest you watch Mei-Yin, Edmund Rockwell, and Gaius Nerva before going the Scorched Earth notes
Finish up the island ones before moving on makes sense 🙂

Reminder 15: I would recommend actually not watching the tekken bloodline anime if you haven't already you should watch a couple of things before it and then you'll be able to properly enjoy it the story mode for 7 first obviously and then a 2 hour video called the insane lore of tekken and BTW if you didn't know the story mode for 7 is only a little less than two hours also. so compared to other series you reacted to like devil may cry and the wicher and God of War that each took 5 videos or so. tekken 7 would only be two parts so I wanna say whenever you get to it to do that video right after. all of it together would be 4 videos each of them 45-50 minutes long I don't think that's more than the other series you reacted to. hopefully I sold you
If you guys are wanting to do more dead by daylight, there are things called archive cutscenes that give some insight into the characters backstories!
