I never really paid that much attention to the dossiers in game but I’ve really enjoyed this series. The lore of the game is massive and really deserves the attention you’ve brought to them. Great job Neddy and team 🍻

I love how rock drakes, wyverns, and managarmrs all have draconis in their name.
Yeah, they are all the same genus. In ark, the Draconis genus includes Wyvenrns, Managarmrs, Rock Drakes, Crystal Wyverns and their kin, and most likely the Dragon. They are all dragons, so would be closely related.

My favorite map since release.
Ive been doing a story playthrough of ark, and I listened to each of your videos on the dossiers and explorer notes to get ready to play the next map on the hitlist for a good long while, enough to beat the bosses solo on official settings. Just as I ascended on scorched and hunkered down to start up abb I see this video. Thanks for helping me prep myself for another grueling marathon of breeding and mutations!

Been a long time since I last played ARK (nothing I own can play it anymore without melting from the inside), BUT I can tell you that thanks to you I have now learned about the birds, the ravager's ability to scale tightropes and vines and the ability to hold TWO at a time with Karkinos.

I love these videos, the dossiers are such a cool part of Ark, and i'm still sad that you no longer get them after taming the creature. Sure it's kinda cool that you get them around the map. But it can't top of feeling of getting to learn about the creature you just tamed.

I just realized while watching this that the Nameless are probably what evolve into those tribal aliens in the ARK II cinematic trailer.
I love how even the dossier proves bulb dog and shine horn should be in the others place
I learned why a level 9 seeker wrecked me in the glowtail cave yesterday once I tamed a new luminescent lizard. Also new to aberration so...
the bulbdog is quite useful especially during a PVP map, specifically they can detect player enemies, thus anything that can move, be it creatures, humans or turrets.
In a Fjurdor map, one of these barked for hostile enitities in a cave, and nothing died in the two man expedition.
