Like the video, i plan on starting with the polespear. I like the idea of using something so simple that if i miss multple times, ill be gaining more experience diving and learning the ins and outs of it all yhe while becoming more confident and safe as a diver. Then when im ready to move on to the speargun, ill be better off.
Thanks for the support. I also personally agree with starting with a polespear, you learn stealth and hone your hand eye coordination in the water. Plus, it keeps things simple and less complicated during a dive.
I learned on a pole spear and in my area ive never really needed the range or power of a speargun but I will say as soon as your accuracy will alow change from a 3 prong to a slip tip as it allows you to harvest bigger stronger fish but it'll always be fun to go for smaller fish with a 3 prong
thanks! and just a quick question. my diver friends were suggesting me to take a freediving courses before i start. do you think its mandatory or its just for my safety? I grew up swimming in river, pool and ocean. @@divespeareat

Theres a lot of better option spearguns below 100 seac preda for example or some cressi models
They may be better but they still are in the same league as the Beuchat Espadon.
Nice, maybe soon. Thank you.
Congratulations on 1k!

Been looking at the pole spear for easy travel and use.

Awesome! Good luck on the giveaway.
1st video that I see holding the pole spear gun's rubber with the thumb, all others suggest to hold it in the palm instead.
How do you hold the rubber with your palm without involving the thumb or any other fingers?
@@divespeareat ur demonstration in this video is exactly how
