This tutorial has helped me way more than even the donut guy ngl, I got lost very early on in the donut tutorial, but with this Ive already got a good grasp at the controls and can make some funny shapes
The donut guy isnt bad, but he teaches stuff for realism which you dont need if ur a roblox dev

when i add a new mesh and try to scale it down, it makes the cup transform as well. how do i fix this
edit: i kinda figured it out, but its kinda annoying to do. everytime i transform/move the mesh, i have to turn off mirror editing, but it still makes it kinda hard to see what im doing. is there a way to make mirror editing stay turned off?

Lastly, prepare a notebook so you can review it faster :)

I was using a new version of Blender. I downloaded the exact version used in this video and I can see the normals.

For those who dont see normals all you have to do is right click and press "auto smooth" in object mode
