We're back to regular videos next week! But we would love to hear what you thought about these full match videos - should we upload more of them in the future or perhaps even make a second channel with only matches from us?
@TheCeilingFanCollectorHD finnish persons avarage height is somewhere around 5 foot 7 or something like that, so I would say he is pretty massive for a table tennis player
yeah, me too. olah (never heard of him) looks like chewbacca with less hair, but damn his serve and shot game is bad. miika never got used to the serve, no solution there.
When I watched Pongfinity for the first few times I thought these were random guys fooling around having some fun. I wouldn't have guessed they are top players on a national level.
What people might not know is that miikka played incredibly tight games against the ultimate best player in finland. Olah was in the rio olympics, and with miikka having so many years to come, he will copete in very high level. Onnee Miikka👍🏻
@@bigfut4963 yeah he didn't... He was probably holding back and observing Mikka's play for a few points. But guess he soon figured out Mikka couldn't really deal with his spin.
congrats for getting to the final, miikka! i've seen olah play in the french "pro a" this year, he's an absolute beast, winning over 60% of his singles so far!
Finland isn't so good at tt though. Benedek is by far their best player, and he is barely top 70 in the world (their second best is like 250). But hey, it's fun seeing that Miikka and Otto play at the top levels in their nation. They are pro players before being Pongfinity guys :)
That was rough to watch, and I'm sure rough to play. Looks like the opponent was just on top of his game that day. Nevertheless, it's a big achievement to make it to the finals!!! Keep up the great work Mikka! I don't mind seeing full match videos on this channel.
Benedek is a top 100 rated in player on the ittf rankings so although mikka is great, he is only 819 in the ittf rankings so benedek’s victory was inevitable
@@abdullahmoledina429 No, every match is just two players, no matter what the rankings say. However, Miikka's game fell apart midway though the first game and Benedek was not about to let him recover.
gentblue I partially agree with you (Liam pitchford did defeat xu xin despite being of a lower ranking than him) but when there is a gap in terms of ability that is that big, then I think ranking does prove a point
if it wasnt for ittf rules the first 150 places would all go to chinese/japanese/hk/taiwan/german players lol. thats why you regularly see some rank 800 chinese player completely "upset" a rank 30 player. ittf tries to allocate points across countries so it's not even at all. if you go to asia none of them give a shit about ittf's "rankings".
Good effort Miika!!! I just watched Benedek's match against Liam Pitchford from 2019 and WOW. When Benedek is on fire, he's unstoppable. I highly recommend you to watch his match.

There's something about Benedik that reminds me of Otto. Calm and composed personality, similar stature and that powerful backhand .
