Court orders arrest of a senior police officer implicated on Baby Pendo case

The High Court in Milimani, Nairobi has once again deferred plea taking for 11 police officers accused in the murder of Baby Pendo, a victim of the 2017 post-election violence. Justice Lilian Mutende postponed the plea taking to 5th November 2024, on grounds that one police officer among the accused persons was missing and there was need for him to be arrested and presented in court.
