Underatted content, ive been doing pullups for so long thinking ive been getting stronger hitting 15 strict ones in a row just to relize i was using the wrong hand placement, im going to change the grip from now on thanks
Thanks brother!! Try adding a belt with weights to get stronger on pullups. Add weight to a belt when you do pullups and add enough so that you can only do a few really good ones with the weight. You'll almost immediately be able to do more bodyweight pullups the next time.
You know what would boost your popularity to help grow your enterprise and channel?! Win a supermatch against a high level arm wrester from today, man that would significantly elevate your renown and some people/fans would gladly pay money to see exactly such a match!
Thanks brother!!…but my advice on how to compete is far more important than watching me compete could ever be. I want to attract an audience that wants to learn so they can be at their personal best. My channel is about helping my audience be the best they can be at the arm wrestling table. All my videos will be coaching and teaching the sport, competition tactics, arm wrestling techniques, and how to train the muscles involved. 💪💪
Tim, have you tried doing pullups on a circle, like a circular monkey bar. When you grab it your arm is semi pronated, something in between neutral grip and overhand. The position of the hand is the same as in a toproll, once you have taken the wrist and are going for the pin, I like the circular bar more than the neutral grip and also i like the semi neutral sort with the handles inwards at an angle.
Thanks for the comment brother. I've probably done every type of pull up ever devised at one time or another. I don't like them for training arm wrestling though because the pronation is "false", meaning you don't need to achieve it, it's already there. The main reason I like the neutral grip bars is for the containment strength you gain in the hands and fingers. I'll be explaining this exact thing in an upcoming video.
Give you some lessons on other pull ups. Wide grip pull up trains your kings move defending strength. Chin up trains your bicep defending strength. Push up trains your flop press strength. Close grip neutral pull up trains your open top roll strength. They are all useful
Can anyone pls clarify me..He says underhand pull ups are not good but it improves biceps strength and it is one of the most thing that helps and works in armwrestling... Cuz if u don't have strong biceps u wouldn’t just win..
Hi brother. Bicep can be worked much more effectively using dumbbells and other equipment. Pull ups are for building your lats and compound pulling muscles. Neutral grip pull ups are most realistic for arm wrestling strength. But, ALL pull ups are good for arm wrestling. I just think some are more applicable than others….after pulling for almost 30 years. 💪💥
I placed 6place ath my first armwrestling tournament and they weren't all necessary stronger than me but stil when it was ready go i got outmatched bye almost everyone how can i improve that?
Coach I have national youth championship In 17 days, Im 95kg 187 I'll get to 90kgs or under, I'll try to do ufc losing weight method by losing water, while doing so should I try to get stronger or how do I keep my power the most, what would you recomend?
Hi brother. Great questions. Just my advice but I suggest you DO NOT try losing a bunch of weight before the tournament. You will feel weak on tournament day. That’s the worst day to feel weak. I suggest coming in and competing at your natural weight and don’t worry about the scale. Those pounds don’t make any difference. Just try MAINTAINING your current strength until the tournament and DO NOT focus on increasing strength. There’s no time for that. Come in strong and fresh, not overtrained. Focus on your speed and technique at the table WITHOUT going all out and killing your arm. COMPETE AS FRESH AS POSSIBLE. Best of luck brother!! 💪
@@armwrestlingsecrets Thanks coach but I believe I will get Wrecked in open category I atleast should try to lose few pounds so I can get a change, but great response thanks!
Open class? There should NOT BE an ‘open weight class’ where there are no weight divisions. That’s only super heavyweight or above. No matter what your weight is, you should still be in a weight class so I wouldn’t worry about the pounds. Are you super heavyweight? What is your weight?
@@armwrestlingsecrets Thanks for responding☺️ I am 97kg right now. In Turkey, at national youth championship the weight classes are 60-65, 65-70, 70-75, 75-80, 80-90 and 90+kg so If I am Above 90 kilos I can even face 150kg opponent in championship. Each division has its own 1th 2th and 3th, so basiclially Im a superheavyweight but I don't wanna compete in superheavyweight, we will weight in on february27th and the first match will be on feb 28. I will have 24 hours to load up after the weight in. May losing water affect my performance too much?

Thanks for the question brother. You mean the in between the legs, squatting down pronation strap lift that EVERYBODY seems to be doing now? Well, technically it's working a lot of the primary strengths Devon needs for his style. Strong pronation with isometric arm flexion. The arm is very close to the body too which is good. I think it's certainly a good lift for arm wrestling but you won't see me doing that. I think beginners should stick with learning and training all the basics AND maybe throw in a few max moves as they get stronger.
This is the time for a strong comeback armwrestling scene at it's biggest I would advise to go full active this and trust me you won't be disappointed. I have some suggestions for content. What is your Instagram ?
Thanks anyway man. I don't use instagram. I'm only interested in people that want to really learn armwrestling. They'll find me. I don't care how many subscribers I have. Thanks brother!

17 days you’re pretty much going to be what you are now strength wise. Just do maintenance weights and be healthy. A lot of rehab blood flow work. That’s my two cents.
so happy to see you back.. your one advice about side pressure has changed my life as an arm wrestler.. you are the best !
U stopped using sidepressure?
Thanks for the great comment brother! I have another video about side pressure coming out next week. Glad I could help!

4. Rope Climbing
5. Wide Grip Hammer (neutral) pull ups.
5. Super Wide Pull ups (just so I could do more with Chin ups)

How to grab the bar? Neutral or wrist over the bar??

@@armwrestlingsecrets that's great thanks
practice your setup and your ready GO at your practice, try to do as many reps as u can just trying to control center table then restart
I think thumb should be outside. That's why this exersice is better to be done on sphere hands
If you had to buy neutral grip handles, would you recommend something fixed and sturdy or are gymnastic ring type handles better/worse?
Fixed for sure brother! Best if you have fixed handles but you can set the bars apart exactly where you want them.
