I had the identical machine in 1965 at 15 years old. The first thing that I did was take the stupid, looking muffler off and put what at the time we’re called snuff or not. That way you could mute the sound of the straight pipes with the twist of a wrist. For whatever reason, I also took the front fender off and largely rode it without the fender. Great machine, great memories. I’d like to only identical bike today.
I love the 305. I purchased one new in Little Creek Va. while stationed with the Sea Bee’s. Wish I had it back today one of the best bikes I ever owned❤. If memory serves I think that it cost me about $749
I had a 65 250 Scrambler with a 337 kit in it makes it bigger than a 250 makes it bigger than a 305 I couldn't get off that bike it looked like this one it had the silver with the tank pads I repainted it with a red frame and I love that bike I could not get off that bike I still have a picture of it but this is almost 50 years ago

Indeed it is a 250cc. Pretty much the same bike bored to 305cc. I had both.
