    Premium line design is nice! Always love how simplistic the fly gloves designs look. Fly does a great job in keeping it minimalist.

    I've been alternating between my Premium and X pairs (16oz for sparring only) for the last couple of weeks now, and I hate to say it, but I MUCH prefer the X series. Outside of the beautiful leather on the premium, I feel like the fit and feel on the X is miles better. The synthetic are more compact, more comfortable, and overall just a better experience. I wish I would have gone with two pairs of Xs for roughly the price of my one pair of premium

      I feel you! It’s so hard to beat the value of the X-line and they great gloves in their own right

      Thanks for the clarity. I was almost hoping this video would convince me of the premium super lace. But it sounds like it would be too soft for anything other than hard sparring. Maybe. What do you think about the gloves now?

    • @chocodesu
      @chocodesu ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chakradjuzeus9275 I just ordered a second pair of Fly X, and will be working those into the rotation. I still prefer my X to the Premium, but I use them both for hard and light sparring days. I only use 16 oz gloves for sparring, so I can’t really speak to how the work for pads or bag work. Can’t stand using big gloves for that kind of work, so I switch back to my 10oz winnings

    Hey man Id like to know between these gloves, which one offers better wrist support for bag work? Also what offers better wrist support regarding lace-up gloves with superloop velcro, or just the velcro version of the glove? super thanks for the vid btw

    • @JordanMilleronyoutube
      @JordanMilleronyoutube  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey there! If you do lace up, I think wrist protection is basically the same. Might be a bit better in the premium line. For me, the lace up offers the best wrist support. The Superloop is good compared to other Velcro gloves because it’s so wide, but I think lace up is better

      @@CaptainAF07 i have the synthetic 16oz laceups and have a pair of 14oz winnings and In my opinion I would say save your money and get the synthetic fly x gloves. The lining is way softer and the padding in my opinion is on par with winning gloves if not better. You get some feedback with the fly and great hand protection. I hit the bag typically 12-15rounds and 5 rounds padwork 6 days a week in these gloves and I have no pain at all. The only thing i would say the winning does better is the thumb. Both gloves have good thumbs but i would say the winning thumb has a more natural curve and allows you to make a comfy fist while the fly glove has a natural thumb curve as well but has a slight curve at the tip of the thumb which is comfy as well just unorthodox to what other glove manufacturers are trying to do.

  • @timm5970
    @timm5970 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    i think the fly xline quality control is a little off. Nothing big but i can see on your glove where the thumb attaches to the body its bulging. On mine the left glove is fine but the right glove has an oddity like that as well. Its like not padded correctly in that area. Was disappointed about that but its not a deal breaker

    I notice the padding is different in the 2 versions. The premium is safest sparring glove on the market but the x line you can feel your knuckles through
