They do the stitching on a sewing machine. They have a special double needle for the perfect even double stitch. Still done by an individual using their hands though.
Great review, dope comparisons with Winning I get those questions all the time and I tell people they aren't a winning clone they have their own style. Like you said Mx style with super soft padding.
Thanks for doing these long term reviews Johnny! I'm thinking of getting a pair of sparring gloves and TopBoxer is my choice right now budget wise, though I'm concerned how physically big they are. Will you be doing a long term review on your pair of TopBoxers soon?

@@summersuspiria I only own the 16 oz gloves. I do not anything lighter for bag work. If my memory serves me right, I don't believe they make anything less than 12 Oz training gloves
Me too. I think the winning gloves leather feels so much better and there broken in basically already. But paying the extra 200+ for something that is almost exactly similar is crazy to me
I use phenom gloves which are really comfortable. I tried a pair of 12oz fly gloves the other day and i wanted a pair instantly. They’re ridiculously comfortable.
Been using the 16oz superloops for few months now. Very high quality and comfortable glove fit. As others have said, not the most protective for heavy bag but most people will get by fine
I just bought a pair of 14oz after watching your video. Brilliant gloves. They’re not broken in yet so still a bit stiff but they’re really comfortable. Get great feedback on the bag and pads
I’m really glad you’re enjoying them. They’re very different from everything else on the market. And I enjoy my pair as well. Looking good always helps. :)
Bro, they are ALL MACHINED STITCHED. There are single stitch and DOUBLE stitch sewing machines . The better sewing machines are double stitch and have SERVO MOTORS. Those are more accurate . Ask Jason at 1v1.
Johnny, how easily does the top compartment open up for parrying? The only glove brand (I have seen reviewed) that opens very easily from day 1 is grant. One thing ppl never seem to show when reviewing gloves is how easily and and how wide you can open the finger compartment for parrying. Thanks J!
Yeah...unfortunately most gloves nowadays are copying the Mexican glove mold, which is tightly balled up fists. Anyway...this Fly gloves are balled up as well but the padding is so soft that you CAN open your hands.
One is made with a double-needle sewing machine, and the other is made with a single needle, and they have to double back to create a double stitch. I hand stitch leather, and I can tell you if it's hand-stitched those Gloves, you'd be paying $800 - $1200 for a pair.

They look nice. I like a soft glove for the bag. Like a bag mitt. Man I've been using those sting viper x sparring gloves for 6 months on the bag and I still wouldn't hit someone with them. Shit bro might have to get the Fly gloves for the ladies.
Hey bro, how you your hands sit in winning gloves? I just got a pair of adispeed 501s, but I noticed striaght away they made your hands sit in a way that when you thorw a punch, it lands with your fingers rather than your knocked, which hurts, so I sent them straight back. So before I spend $900 on winning (that's how much they bloody cost in Australia, just wondering if the finger pocket is deep enough so that your hand can slide in far enough that when you throw a punch it lands with your knuckles, rather than fingers?

the stitching on the fly uses a double needle technique to keep the parallel lines of stitching

I think some boxing organizations have cancelled them now at least one of them. Usyk also was complaining that Chisora's punches felt like bricks.
