    I have not quite found any clear instructions that are easy to understand for changing the 3 different stereo modes. But I think I have it figured out now.
    The part I was always missing was that you can activate the three different stereo modes by changing the main delay mode dial between Loop, Analog and Standard (when you hold the pedal down and insert a second plug into the B-jack).
    Ooof. Hahah. I think I got it now.

    Effects loop, or directly 🤔

    could you do a comparison of the panning delays with the RV-2? (it is the best panning delay ever according to Steve Kimock)

      I no longer have the RV-2, but the panning does sound quite good here th-cam.com/video/p_8-7vGIAho/w-d-xo.html

    Will stereo panning work with stereo inputs? I'm running a stereo rig but my DD6 will only pan with mono input (not stereo).

      @PedalScience  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm pretty sure it simply keeps the channels independent i.e dual mono when you have stereo input

      @@PedalScience awwww no.. I just ordered one to replace the DD6 for no reason lol

      I don't have my DD-7 or DD-8 anymore to confirm for you so maybe you can check? Also, perhaps I have misinterpreted your question - if you have a stereo input, most people wouldn't want a ping-pong output, they would rather 'preserve' whatever is unique to each L/R channel entering the delay pedal, hence the 'dual-mono' output in that particular setup with the Boss delays. Are you looking for a stereo in / out delay that will ping pong the repeats for a stereo input?

      @@PedalScience Hi, yes that is what I am after. It looks as though the panning mode will work with dual inputs once you set it but I guess I'll find out when it arrives. Thanks for the video.

      Good news for anyone in the same situation or with a stereo rig - I tested this today on my new DD-8. You can select the stereo mode as per the great video above and it does in fact pan even with stereo inputs (i.e. A and B inputs connected). This has to be the only compact pedal that does it and was the reason for my upgrade from the DD-6.

    Once you set the “stereo mode” to pan or wide, it will stay that way as you turn the mode knob through the different settings (analog,tape,warm,reverse) ?

    • @PedalScience
      @PedalScience  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes it stays in that output mode for all the delay types

    Is the wire on the top of the pedal for a power supply cuz mine doesnt seem to work when something is plugged in to the top input

    • @PedalScience
      @PedalScience  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is. Does it work on battery? Could be that your PSU is the wrong polarity or voltage is too low

      @Minimac22 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PedalScience so that means the power supply isnt high enough voltage?

    Cuanto tiempo de retardo tiene?

    • @PedalScience

      most of the modes 20-800ms, 1600ms in 'long delay' mode and up to 10s in reverse mode and 40s in looper

    DD7 to me sounds better than the 8 overall.

      Definitely. The DD7 is their best sounding delay
