your alignment worries should be with your wedges, those are your scoring clubs, remember the closer you get requires more accuracy, Great Vid⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳ proximity to the hole is key

He is not even close to top 50. Best one of 2022 is currently 92.8 and to get to top 50 u need 87.3 and there are a lots of scores in the 85-87 range. 84 is still a super good score though.

Do you or are you allowed to take a break between each shot to feel it out and really focus, dial in for each one? Maybe you work better with rapid fire?
Video idea that could also be beneficial skill wise: do the Trackman combine but try to use different clubs for different shots. Try to hit like a low choke down pitching wedge on the 100 yard shot. Just hit different shots with different clubs and try to carry it to the different yardages.

to be honest maybe instead of laying up at 100 maybe he should lay up at 120 considering how good he was from 120 idk the machine versus real life is very different
That's what I've been doing since I have a gap at 90 to 110, I struggle to hit 100 consistently so I would much rather be at 120. I would love to do this track man thing so I could see what numbers I hit more consistently. I'm sure that would be huge help to know at the course.
yep, 120 is a better number to hit for most people, it's more of a full swing with smooth tempo
So I just paused half way through because of something confusing. Shot 26 is 180 yards. The ball went 187.1 but it's 5 feet from the pin. Is that supposed to be the distance from the center line and just worded weird?

In my opinion it started with garret being the best overall player, then tig really stepped up and overpassed him with distance and wedge control. Tig was a killer inside of 150. But now I kinda think it’s between matt and grant. Matt’s game have the biggest improvement by far and he’s been an absolute beast within the last few months. And grant is just an overall great player and so knowledgeable about the game. Tig definitely still has long drive in the bag💪🏽
@@alexguillen5532 Tig has been grinding and getting a lot better, but Matt is playing the best golf out of all GG, however I think Garret has the most pure talent,. Grant has the purest swing though.

@@alexguillen5532 you must be fairly new to the content, micha used to be absolutely umbeatable, he was a riot in every facet of the game,the first round of Sunday matches with Garrett I felt sorry for the kid he had no chance, he's been struggling for a bit now because swing changes, garret's short game really stepped up this past year and short game wins matches, he's able to pull wins playing his second shot from the trees more often than not. Grant has lost 75% of his matches against Garrett AND Tig, and Matt will lose 9 out of 10 against either tig, Garrett or grant,he's had a hot streak in California and that's about it,his inability to putt will never allow him to be on this guys level. He's a wonderful driver of the ball tough, and his swing is absolute money (the prettiest of the group imo).If Garrett started swinging within himself, and stopped "playing a spinning high cut flighted down fade draw (you know what I mean),and just put the damn ball on the green, nobody would stand a chance, he's just too good

is there any way to work on your putting and green reading --- because from all the videos I've watched those are your weak spots -- start 1 putting more and your scores would improve 6 to 8 strokes per 18 holes
If he gained 6-8 strokes per round on the greens, he'd be the greatest putter in history.
@@FBTRodz7 if he could he would be in the general area of the pro tour players on a good round of 66 to 69 or better and on really good day,65 or better wouldn't be out of the question.

Can someone explain to me why my irons are only ~5 yds shorter than Micah’s, but my wedges are wayyyy shorter?
You're probably more steep and that causes the ball to ride up the face and makes for super lofted ball flights that don't go that far. I'm the same way I can get a 5 iron 210 but a 56 only goes 90
Steep swing. Wedges are more consistent and longer with a fairly shallow swing. More spin that way too.
@@eric42ca that or he's using distance irons with way less loft (Tig's irons are traditional lofts, if he hits say an m2 7 iron he'll be sending it well over 200 yards..),I very much doubt the op can hit the same irons tig uses within 5 yards ,micah's distances are absolutely insane

How the hell do you hit a 180 yard 8 iron? I'm lucky I can hit my 7 iron, if I hit it absolutely pure, 180 and that's a 31.5° 7 iron. Holy crap.
He hits everything really far. Look at those carry numbers with the driver! I'm a long hitter (290-300 driver carry) and a solid golfer (2-3 handicap) and I still only carry an 8 about 165-170 (38 degree). He's a real outlier/monster when it comes to distance.
