The Hippy Hippy Shake - The Beatles - Live At The BBC - Guitar Cover (4K)

Welcome back to another video!
I thought I would make two short length Beatles songs, this being the first, the next to come very soon!
For George's Guitar part, he most likely used his Gretsch G6122 T-63 Country Gentleman, which is what I am using for my video! I used my VOX AC30-VR amplifier to replicate the tone, which I recorded with my Røde NT1-A Condensor Microphone, placed just in-between the speaker cones, similar to the micing approach seen at EMI throughout '62 - '64 (However, the micing in BBC studios was slightly different, with microphones placed very far from the centre speaker cone, as the engineers believed the volume of the amplifiers may damage the microphones, and this had the effect of each members individual microphones picking up each others instruments, leading to a rather muddy and live sound.)
For John's Guitar part, I believe he used his '62 Gibson J-160e, opposed to his Rickenbacker 326v58. The reason I believe this is that comparing each available version of the song, bootleg and otherwise, reveals some audio differences between broadcast dates;

And the only version of the song that I have found to include the J-160e, is the version I have recorded, the 30th July, 1963 broadcast:

Enough of the rambling! For my Guitar part, I am using my Epiphone EJ-160e, also plugged into my AC30-VR, the mic placement being identical to George's, but the tone on the Guitar is set to around 8.
