He didn't even make a roux. He just melted some cheese. I knew how to make proper macaroni cheese when I was 10. I don't know. Maybe it's just an american thing to have pasta without sauce. 🤷

It can be done (could do it by making a cheese roux) but tbh in my experience, a LOT of Black people eat dry, oily mac & cheese partly because they neither use velveeta nor do they make a cheese roux.....and on top of that, they add too much butter (makes it oily and stops cheese from sticking to noodles), egg ( not needed) & shredded cheese (this wouldn't be an issue of they melted the cheese, but they usually just toss it in the oven and it doesn't melt all the way)

I just made this today (more or less) (Mozzarella, Colby Jack, Extra Sharp Cheddar, Heavy Cream) using cream cheese instead of Velveeta and added a good amount of Nutritional Yeast Flakes (excellent source of B Vitamins and flavor) and a little bit of Melinda's Creamy style Ghost Pepper wing sauce topped on top of the casserole. The best Mac-'N-Cheese I've ever had. I didn't measure anything and so I ended up making more macaroni pasta to add to it because it was too much cheese. I baked it for about 20 minutes at 300°F and another 15 minutes at 350°F. Took it out, mixed it well and put it in the oven for another 20 to 30 minutes at 350°F and voila!!!🙏🏻... 👍🏻👌🏻 🧀🤯
