Melanie, thank you sooo much for posting this video! Omg, the negative reviews were making me nervous, but your video was reassuring. Did you get the chance visit the neighboring properties? Oh, and were any of the nearby beaches swimmable? Or is the seaweed completely out of control this year.
We didn't visit the properties next door much. We did walk around a bit one day and they looked nice. The beach...honestly some says were clear and others super seaweedy. Hard to predict. We did get in the water a few times. Definitely don't miss visiting the snack bar at the beach for lunch though....so good! Honestly the reviews are wacky everywhere right now....we are away again in a few weeks and seeing lots of complaints. Just go in with an open mind....it's always better than being at work!
Hi! Since the swim out pool is connected to the room-can you still swim in your section infront of room when it's late hours (ex regular pools are closed)?
Ummm….I didn’t see many people swimming late at night in the swim ups. I’m sure it happens! I always just think they have to put chemicals in those pools at some point….so I’m nervous to try it.
@nicholask8657 the one we had was attached to the main pool so it wasn't very private. Others are slightly more private but you'd still share with neighbouring rooms.

I have a couple questions. I heard you can rent a bicycle at the front desk. Would you happen to know if that’s free? Also, what are some of the activities/entertainment they have throughout the day and night
I’m not sure about the bicycle price but they definitely to have them. Activities…they have lots…pool and beach volleyball, bracelet making, drink making, towel art, water aerobics. They also have a sports park with batting cages, shooting and paddle boarding. Night time they have shows in their theatre and often music in the outdoor plaza. Lots to do!
Yes, they are in different parts of the resort. The platinum ones look newer/renovated too. If you watch my walk through videos you'll see where both room types are!

Great video! Can you lock the balcony door from the outside and leave from there?
Sadly...no...probably not the safest but we just kept our important stuff in the safe and kept an eye on the door.

pretty much mexican beers like dos equis on tap. They do have Crown royal here which is endless.
