@@dpelpal I probably was unclear, I Putin was complaining about banned Western weapons used to destroy bridges could have misunderstood. But I think Ukraine has the right approach in Kursk, it will not do their image any good to resort to Russian tactics of destroying civilians and civilian targets. By the way my wife is Ukraine from Mykolaiv and Have been to Ukraine a number of times and the people are friendly and don’t deserve what has happened to their country, she has lost her home, you can blame the Russian regime for the loss of your home, not Ukrainians.
Ukraine started this conflict back in 2014 just after the EuroMaidan, where they shelled the F..k out of the Donbas region killing around 14,000 people including 200 children, Putin didn't get involved till 2022 a full 8 years later, maybe watch the 17 parts of 'Roses Have Thorns' you may be shocked.
Spin around, like a whirling dervish, clockwise (yang in the northern hemisphere/yin in the southern hemisphere) or counterclockwise (yin in the northern hemisphere/yang in the southern hemisphere). Chanting these mantras(yin mantras) heal each chakra: Um like "from"(root), Am like "Tom"(sacral/solar plexus), Oom like "room"(heart), Em like "them"(throat), Om like "home"(heart/throat/pineal) and Ngm (humming with tongue on the roof of the mouth/pineal/crown). These mantras build yang in the body: Eem like "team", Im like "him" and Am like "lamb". The days of the week relate to the chakras as follows: sunday(root), monday(sacral), tuesday(solar plexus), wednesday(heart), thursday(throat), friday(pineal), saturday(crown). Sleep with the head placed east. The cardinal directions represent the 4 seasons: east(spring), south(summer), west(autumn), north(winter) in the northern hemisphere or east(spring),north(summer), west(autumn), and south(winter) in the southern hemisphere. Stare into these symbols before sleep in order: the eye of horus and its mirror image, the eye of ra, one eye at a time, 7 colored rainbow, then the torus yantra, pentacle, metatron's cube, heptagram, enneagram and then the flower of life mandala before sleep. Go for walks while breathing deeply through the mouth and nose(count your breaths based on the number of chanting repetitions for each chakra depending on the day of week). While walking also periodically touch each finger tip to the tip of the thumb and make fists(mudras). Lift weights and box a punching bag. Place coiled copper wire into the soil and grow non-gmo soy, wheat, corn, mint potatoes, regular(unfeminized) cannabis seeds and papaver somniferum(7 year crop rotation). Get natto starter to make natto. Place bare feet and hands on the grass. Sunbathe or shine white LED light on skin during the day and at night use LED lights on red(sunday), orange(monday), yellow(tuesday), green(wedsnesday), blue(thursday), indigo(friday) or violet(saturday) settings and expose all skin to the light. Another helpful suggestion. From friday sunset to saturday sunset rest the sabbath which means no lighting fires(no lighters, stovetops, etc.), no physical exercise, no singing or listening to music, and no buying or selling. This will increase yin in the body for the following week. Breaking the sabbath(doing the opposite) will increase yang in the body for the following week. During the sabbath, if keeping the sabbath, wear all white clothing. If breaking the sabbath, wear all black clothing. Rotate the sleeping cardinal direction at the end of every sabbath: east, south, west, north in the northern hemisphere or east, north, west, south in the southern hemisphere. Take neem(sparingly), cinnamon, turmeric, curcumin, nutmeg, gotu kola, schizandra, fo-ti, garlic, vitamins and minerals. Drink lemon juice, lemon balm, mint herbal teas and kefir. Drink organic caffeinated coffee, tea or cocoa in the morning(take breaks from caffeine as well). Also take n-acetyl cysteine, bromelain and nattokinase(detox). Experiment with resting one different day of the week the same as the sabbath(from sundown to sundown)or every other day sabbath. Worship Amun-Ra. Look into Nos Confunden's terra infinita map....
The defeat of Russians in this war will reduce global military confrontations, and their winning will be the opposite of it. For a global peace, anybody who has any support for Ukraine should never hesitate to do so and make Russians understand that bringing back their previous soviet glory at the expenses of his neighbor is unthinkable and can not be allowed in this modern era and age.

We need peace
Western countries should lift all kinds of restrictions on the weapons given to Ukrainians on how they are used inside Russia because the restrictions is why Putin is convinced he can take as much territory of Ukrain or even take the whole country with the war of attrition knowing fully well that they have more military personnel than Ukrainians and they have been able to lie to their people of the legitimacy of the war for them to gain support and be patient with them.
The Ukranians could ask the Russians to pull out of Ukraine completely first, and then Ukraine could release the land they are holding once the Russians have gone home.

I can't see him using a tactical nuclear weapon as you note the response from his allies, never mind nato would be profound. Even if he gave the order I can't see the generals following it. As you say China would feel threatened and might join in the response of the West. The other nuclear powers would want to make the point that if you use nuclear weapons, you are destroyed.

It's been something I've personally thought from the beginning. They have no nuclear capabilities. Every nuclear test they've done thus far has failed, and their warheads are from the cold war, they have no guarantee any of them work. They're bluffing.

Use of nukes would always be a last resort. You can’t say for a certainty the nuclear threat is baseless, you’ll only know in hindsight which is pointless. Even without intent to use nukes we’re increasing the chances for catastrophe by accident or miscalculation. It’s crazy to take this kind of risk.
If this is so, then how come people closest to Putin are not on sanctions lists? Like his multiple women: they benefit from his illegal war, his terrorist regime, and yet they own and use property in EU freely. What are EU bureaucrats still afraid of, if indeed Zelensky's gamble showed that Putin's threats are a bluff?
Just a little correction: 1000 sq km isn't "huge". It may be in Ireland, but not in Ukraine or Russia. It's what in that area that's important. 1000 square km is just roughly 30 x 30 km, or about 20 x 20 miles.

Here's a thought: The Russians pull 3 or 4 elite brigades (I don't know how big a Russian brigade is, but whatever) from Donetsk. Those troops advance to Kursk. Ukraine waits until the last minute and then hastily retreats back into Ukraine.
Meanwhile, two Ukrainian brigades have been assembled and are hiding just over the border in Ukraine.
The Russian troops chase the original invaders back into Ukraine, and then the two hidden brigades sweep in from behind.. The Russian brigades are decimated.. and the victorious Ukrainian fighters go back south to join the fighting there.

Ukraine could say to its allies please take all restrictions off (we will not bomb civilians) and then up all of your sanctions. Stop buying Russian oil. Then we will withdraw from Kursk.

A second British military challenger 2 tank has been destroyed in Kursk after a Russian attack on a UAF convoy. On August 11 another challenger 2 tank was destroyed in a drone attack.

The stepwise escalation may be a good idea because it demonstrates restraint. I'm not sure we want Putin to feel totally hopeless.
If his thoughts and beliefs are on rails as shown by the lack of adaptation, and the war decision in the 1st place then it may still be an issue for saying it like a mantra in a echo chamber is the sign of not just his, but his surrounding's. I would not be so open that 'ukraine crossed his red lines and he hasnt done anything' - it sounds like welcoming him to do something. Where does the 1000 square miles come from ? They are max 30-40 km from the border so what 1000sq miles are they talking about ?
At this point the deployment of the Russian 12th directorate and tactical nuclear weapons is only reserved for direct NATO intervention, an outside possibility in the event of a total Ukrainian collapse. Current Ukrainian military strength does not warrant their deployment or use.

This is a wrong interpretation, as bad as the Ukrainian incision is for Putin, it's mostly embarrassing rather than a real threat to Russia. Thus nuclear weapons would be an overreaction.
