@@gregrice3578 compared to some other mods there's not a lot yet but I think it's a newer build. If I remember correctly there's this sleeper or a taller one, a 6x4 chassis and this heavy haul configuration. I'd like to see a lowered and stretched frame and some more options in the future but so far it's a cool mod as is

Man these sounds are getting more and more realistic everyday I swear, coming from a guy that's been around semis a ton lol. Really like how it sounds when you only Jake on the high side of the transmission btw 👍

I've been flying X-plane for years and love it, so when I stumbled across ATS I had to try it. I am now playing it every chance I get, love the heavy haul trucking aspect. I hope you can 79, the flight Sims are pretty life like nowadays, good luck, I love bush flying in x-plane 11, Alaska, and BC are favorite places to fly bush planes, but I'm kind of partial to the beauty of the South West also.

Where did u get the longer shifter stand for the knob I’m trying to find one and a good shifter since I’m trying to get more truck related add ons but not able to find god stuff
It's just some threaded rod and couplers, nothing fancy.......I also play racing games so I needed something I could easily swap back and forth 👍

How did you switch you splitter around because every time I order mine my high and low said is backwards
Joshua it's been a few years since I set mine up but if I remember correctly I had to remove the screws and separate the plastic pieces and rotate the 2 switches 180 degrees so they worked in the right direction. I think mine came setup for a European style with the shifter on the left instead of how I drive on the right side of me
This must be a late 1990s Kenworth or early 2000s. How do you put the names on the doors or your trailer?
Patrick some truck mods have an option to edit the files to add it but most are done through skins which are separate mods that you can create

@rickoclark7126 I actually haven't used it since this video; if I remember correctly it sort of had a template but it was like a duplicate of the other side.....so if I put my name on the drivers side it would reflect to the passenger side with the letters backwards. It may be fixed now or I may be confusing it with another mod truck

Darrell I used to play ATS on a gaming laptop (link in the description) and it did decent but it's much more challenging to keep them cool vs. a Tower since you don't get the airflow. After a year I made the switch to a tower and think that's the best option 👍

The_veteran I think they stopped making the A-Model in the early 80's and switched over to this style.....I vaguely remember seeing something in the mod saying it was a 2004 but I may be wrong
@@HammerLane79 it’s really hard to tell the difference. Flat dash ended in 1995 and then they went with that style from ‘96-05 and now the dash and windshield is a little more round and not as flat. But I could be wrong

could anyone give me some advice on why my American truck sim keeps crashing without an error code?? i thought it was "the Haterbuilt" that was crashing it but i deleted that mod and it still does it. i notice it will happen once i hit around 70
Ace my suggestion would be to just enable 1 mod at a time until you isolate which one is causing it. Also I remember hearing that the latest game update was having some issues with the Minimum Advisor Map mod so if you have that it may be the issue
